With a penchant for off-kilter drum and bass, bass, dub and dubstep, sina meticulously curates sets that mix and match elements of atmospheric trip hop, murky post-DnB and the mischievous 2-step sounds of the 90/00s. Witnessing sina grace the decks at Inward Goods festival was a nostalgic luxury - I felt like I’d stepped into some form of magical Y2k swamp party, where only the best of early 2000s drum and bass were being thrown down. Sina’s contributions to the community extend beyond the decks and into the realm of party planning and label curation (Secret World) whilst also forming ⅓ of the band dregs. Mila Stern plays music like a vole swinging a glow stick. Gently but firmly she pushes us forward. Little kicks in the back side towards happiness get us dancing on our toes until we want to cry out: “Whaaat?!” Mila was musically raised in youth centres & squats, ripened in Tel Aviv to finally graduate to the best clubs that Germany offers. She prefers a course around 123,4 bpm, sliding through with some shorter and occasionally with longer transitions. Preferably well-rested. But even crumpled, she has surprised us with utter superiority!

DJ and production duo Solardo were born and raised in Manchester, a city where music has historically been central to life. Coming from a background in dubstep, the pair have taken these roots and cultivated them into a fresh bass-heavy signature that has started to resonate with a wider audience, building up a force of fans and nods from influential label bosses along with a healthy slew of releases behind them on the likes of Kalkuki and Viva Music. Having put the hours in developing their ethos and aesthetic, 2016 is already proving to be a big year for the production team. 

Here the pair (made up of Mark Richards and James Eliot) have delivered us a large chunk of bass driven techno, featuring a very special and exclusive first listen to a collaboration with Skream another techno convert who they're set to link with when they make their debut in Room Two on May 7th.

The first in this series comes from the king of deep house himself, Nick Holder (DNH Records, Toronto), recorded at Suicide Circus on June 4. It was the first time Nick played Berlin since '98, and when he got up to leave about an hour after his set, the club spontaneously erupted into a second round of cheers & applause -- so much love! Thank you to everyone who came down and to Nick for continuing to inspire us with his music.

Club trends come and go, but Daniel Steinberg has been a constant creative force in electronic music for well over a decade. One of Berlin's most celebrated house & techno practitioners, Steinberg is a dance floor specialist with an ear for infectious hooks and addictive grooves.   

He's connected with some of the most well known names in electronic music, having remixed Claptone, Felix Da Housecat and Oliver Dollar. His own productions have been remixed by Roman Fluegel, Derrick Carter, 808 State, Crazy P, Paul Johnson, Nick Holder, DJ W!LD to name but a few. 

Steinberg's early output arrived on Jesse Rose's Front Room label with a string of releases including the latin house hit 'Bailando' and his debut album 'Shut up'. The focus shifted in 2011 to his own Arms & Legs imprint through which he released his subsequent albums 'Treptow' and 'Left-Handed' and club classics 'Joy & Happiness' and 'Let Me Down' that was re-released on Defected with a chart topping remix from Tube & Berger.

His DJ-ing has been similarly heralded having built a reputation as an artist who delivers serious fun to the dance floor. Daniel has played peak-time slots across the globe including Panorama Bar Berlin, Rex Club Paris, Baum Bogota, DC310 Mexico City, Razzamatazz Barcelona, Wire Festival Japan, Fusion Festival Germany. See him in a behind the decks and you'll immediately know why, his energy is infectious and his skill undeniable as he weaves together own brand of fun-fuelled house and techno, full of sly creative winks.
