This is the 117th Ambient Sessions presented by Deep Electronics. These monthly released sessions brings you the best and the most diversity Ambient music can offer. This month Daniel Filipovic takes us back with his mixtape to the Southern Lights Label night @ Arkaoda, Berlin where the set was recorded.


About: 
Daniel Filipovic is the founder and co-curator of Naarm (Melbourne) and Amsterdam label, Southern Lights. Southern Lights exists to nurture emerging and established artists that push the boundaries of dark and elemental music by providing a platform to release high quality, thoughtfully designed physical editions of recordings and digital works.
As a DJ, his sets are a reflection of how he curates the label: taking in all things esoteric and forward thinking; from ambient, drone and dub-infused sounds through to raw, hypnotic and experimental techno.

About the set:
The mix is an all-vinyl set recorded at the Southern Lights Label Night held at Arkaoda, Berlin in March 2024, supporting live sets from Mattia Onori and Katatonic Silentio.
