On the milestone of our 5th release, we gave ourselves at Ritter Butzke Studio a very special gift - A release by no other than Schlepp Geist. He is presenting us his "Back to the Basics EP”: Please dive in with us too, and feel the unique theme in every single track of this piece. All along the EP, the honest "hand-made" House music surrounds you, riddled with vocals by Schlepp Geist himself. No bells and whistles here. The cherry on top is a great remix by "Mr.Vibe" Patryk Molinari!

The opening title track "Back to the Basics" sets the direction instantly. Massive analog drumming, deep lead basses, pitched synthesized melody, sprinkled with catchy vocals - This piece is a synthesis of the arts! Right after this kick you will find the A2 "Purple Horizon": A Deep, spherical track with the intense DNA as its big brother – a definite must have for the upcoming Festivals & Open-Air season!

Welcome to the B-Side. Which we find as giving the proper contrast to this release. Starting with “Urban Camouflage" original mix, which shows the laid-back angle of Schlepp Geist. This is an impressive marvelous, atmospheric track, with dreamy pads and soothing warm vocals, which is exactly the element that is built upon the remix of Patryk Molinari, which presents it in an uplifting approach that respects the vitality of the original nevertheless.

The moment you will listen to the tracks yourself, you will feel the confidence of this release. We think of it as a unique musical cinema!

Swedish duo, Bambook, comprised of Eiad Sayegh and Hannes Netzell, have been captivating our interest since they appeared on our radar with their release on UK imprint, Faceless Recordings back in February. It seems a little digging into their past and you can find releases on labels like Get Physical, Circus Recordings, Culprit and quite a few others. Scheduled for July 14, Edu Imberon's label, Fayer, will release a remix package of Qtier's, "Set Me On" containing a piano laden remix by Bambook.

If there's anything we've learned about these guys is that you better not take your eyes and ears off them. The work they are doing is quality and it's attracting all the right people. Without a doubt, Bambook will find their way into your playlists, your mixes and on club sound systems anywhere good music is being played.

Prior to its release on September 1st we present Hayun, the joyous second track from Sam Goku's EP. It is an emotive fanfare of gliding violins dancing above a conquering bassline. The accompaniment of birdcalls, blistering cicadas and trumpeting elephants result in the record feeling somewhat like an ode to mother nature. A track that emanates the surge of energy felt when exploring the wild. If you have the opportunity, we strongly recommend listening to this one whilst out in the nature. Debütalbum von Sascha Funkes neuem Projekt Saschienne, das der Berliner Produzent gemeinsam mit seiner Frau, der Sängerin und Multiinstrumentalistin Julienne Dessagne, ins Leben gerufen hat. Sascha Funke ist einer der großen Techno-Autoren Deutschlands und das Genie hinter den Bestseller-Alben "Bravo" und "Mango". Saschienne ist kein kurzweiliges Band-Experiment, sondern eine feste Partnerschaft mit Horizont. Bereits die ersten Tracks bezeugen die vollständig ausformulierte Meisterschaft auf der Klaviatur der Tanz-Emotionen, stets oszillierend und irgendwo zwischen gezupfter Introspektion und kompromissloser Hymne. Seine erste Single "Campus" auf Kompakt von 1999, verschaffte dem damaligen Newcomer direkt einen glücklichen Start, hechtete er doch im Gefolge der ersten Releases von Meilenstein zu Meilenstein.
