I am a musician at Berklee college of music and have a passion for almost every genre. Daniel J Morrow is a British, New York-based musician with a lifelong passion for songwriting. 
Performing as vocalist, guitarist and keyboardist, danieljmorrow is a British singer/songwriter residing in Brooklyn, NY since 2002.

Daniel initially came to NYC from the U.K. to follow up with RCA about their requests to feature some of his music on a compilation release. In addition to a stockpile of unreleased recordings, his debut solo album, "Underneath" and his band album “Between the Times” fall somewhere between indie rock and "dark pop", with an undercurrent of humour competing with introspective lyrics.

The Morrow is a Brooklyn based band consisting of Daniel Morrow (singer/songwriter), Alex Sherba (guitarist), Jonathan Vergara (drummer) and Gabby Ess (vocals, bass, piano and anything else you can think of!) The band members enjoy switching instruments and genres equally and it is this versatility and ingenuity that audiences in New York have been embracing.

British influences can  be heard in the songwriting of London born Daniel Morrow, but their sound pulls influences from a diverse array of artists - the  quirky guitar style fusing elements of Pavement, Jeff Beck and Lightnin Hopkins alongside the thoughtful arrangement of the band and lyrics of both Dan Morrow and Gabby Ess.

It is these catchy tunes and complex layers that are attracting a growing fan-base on the East Coast of the USA. The Morrow are playing regular shows in Brooklyn and Manhattan and are gaining airplay in Boston and Rhode Island thanks to their regular visits to the north. Following a 4-song EP, the band have been working on a full length album due for release in early 2019
