I've been away for a while haven't I?Working hard on my debut album! With only a few tracks left to finish, which should hopefully take no more than 2 months or so, I thought I'd let everyone get a first (well second) look at what I've been cooking up.

This track is all about the day to day struggle of living with mental and physical health problems. The abject terror of waking up each day in a vessel that seems to hate your existance. But even in darkness, there's light if you look. Listen to the album for a journey from a dark pit of depression and anguish to a hopeful future.

The Moon In the Window releasing...at some point! I'll update this description when I have a date. It'll be free to stream on here and avaliable for purchase on Bandcamp for just £1 (like, $1.20?) and I'll post the link along with another track when it releases.

The song describes the painful aftermath of a broken promise. You poured your heart out and trusted someone who swore they wouldn't leave, but they did.

Now, you're haunted by their absence, feeling lost and intoxicated by their memory. Even walking away doesn't free you from their shadow. You'd do anything to get them back, even trade your soul, but you fear the love was an illusion, a cruel lie.

The chorus captures the heart-wrenching feeling: "I still love you, I still miss you, for you girl, I would sin." It's a song about betrayal, heartbreak, and the desperate longing for love lost.

Guajira en el río va de la búsqueda de colores y alegría en las raíces cubanas. Va de la búsqueda más hacia dentro que hacia afuera. Va de las ganas de quedarse y no de irse. Va de una guajira mojada y floreciendo en el río.

BIO: Adrian Aguiar es un joven guitarrista cubano con influencias del jazz, la música clásica, bossa nova y géneros de la música cubana y latina. Comenzó sus estudios de violonchelo en el Conservatorio Alejandro García Caturla a los 8 años hasta que descubrió su pasión por la guitarra 5 cinco años más tarde. Se graduó de la Escuela Nacional de Música en 2019 y obtuvo plaza para ingresar al Instituto Superior de las Artes (ISA), pero decidió no entrar para dedicarse por entero a encontrarse musicalmente, seguir los caminos del jazz y crear sus propias composiciones y arreglos. Desde entonces ha participado en eventos como el festival Jazz Plaza y ha tocado con muchos músicos de su país como Dayron Ortiz, Emilio Martiní, Camila Guevara, Frank Fonte, Richard Fando, Jonathan Formell, Tobías Alfonso, Julito Padrón, Dayron Ortiz entre otros.
