This original song describes that feeling of escaping your day-to-day work life, wandering through the crowds to the sanctity of a local pub. And there the really deep rooted thoughts and meanings get their chance to rise to the surface and take over. In the contemplative world of the low lights and the general banter, the heart overcomes the brain and for a while you get lost in it, on that side of the line between real life and the one that got away..... Rock Flexible is a spare-time guitar player, multi-instrumentalist, producer and singer based in Berlin, Germany. 
He is much interested in the technical and production side of things and he will immediately stop making music as soon as he has achieved his final goal: Creating music in the quality of the ones producing for Radio and commercial CDs :o)

First, I would like to say thank you for reading this. That means that you liked my songs enough to see what I’m about. That means a lot to me.
I’m a working man and a family man. The years digging ditches and breaking my back to put food on the table, has given me enough ammo to write a song or two. I like to write songs about real life with all of its struggles, beauty and grit…

In this digital age of perfect music I'm trying to leave the human imperfections in the tracks. Most parts are done straight through with no splices. A missed note or chord here or there, bit out of time...trying to keep it raw. Maybe I go too far sometimes?

I am a singer guitarist a songwriter and professional musician living in England. I have performed professionally on cruise ships as a singer guitarist, performed in pubs in England, Ireland and Scandinavia. I have also showcased my original songs at acoustic venues in London.

This project used to be called "imaginary friends", but it became too real for that name, as did many of you.
