snippet based on exercise 4.12 from "Electronic Music: Systems, Techniques and Controls" by Allen Strange, using a sub-audio oscillator as a source, with an LFO and manual filter sweeps.

my exploration of part of Allen Strange's exercise 4.15 -- rhythm machine clicks going into drone.  i'm using the modulation oscillators from Buchla 259x2 and a 259e.

4.15 rhythm machine and drone

This is simply a didactic demo of Fig. 8.66 from Allen Strange's book, Electronic Music...
At :30 I add Fig. 8.63 "echo" patch, then bring in some reverb.  First heard is the four note sequence from the keyboard then is added the five note sequence. Just now added a little CV driven sequence at the end of the file.

this time using a Buchla Music Easel: first just keyboard with the Easel's sequencer then adding arpeggiator and back to keyboard/sequencer.

a no frills execution of Allen Strange's figures 8.1 and 8.2 on a Buchla 100. At the end there is a short :30 "music concrete" piece constructed and manipulated  from the sounds heard previously in the track.  I would love to hear what other results folks get and create!
