Equilibrium is a composition for the microtonal Huygens Fokker organ and live electronics. The organ part is computer generated and played via a computer. The electronic part is microtonal like the organ.

The concept of this compositions was to create a balance between the organ and electronic part. The organ tries to be electronic as much as it can but the electronic part wants to be more organ-like.

The Huygens Fokker organ is a famous organ based in Amsterdam, The Netherlands and consists out of 31 keys per octave.

Equilibrium was commissioned by Huygens Fokker Foundation and Performing Arts Fund NL.
