Loop 11 - adventures in ambient dub

My love of music was ignited one winters night in the early 90s at Londons legendary whirlygig, then in Shoreditch. I attended religiously every week from that moment along with other seminal nights such as Talvin Singhs ‘Anokha’ , ‘Joi’ , the Dub club in Tufnel park and  Megatripolis at Heaven … what an education! I was soon chasing down obscure music on my own travels around the world, swapping cigarettes for cassette tapes in Moroccan taxis and Indian markets . Along the way building  installations & running sound systems and outrageous stages  for the biggest festivals in the country, music has always been a constant.

After sharing movement, breathwork and meditation for the past 20 years,  the blending of these and music came a bit by surprise when I was diagnosed with progressive sight loss in 2024. Unable to continue with metal sculpture I returned to my roots of playing and making music and naturally fell into creating epic sound journeys , both djing and playing live.

It recently culminated in eight hours of electronic ecstatic dance and live electronic soundbaths at the 2025 Glastonbury festival.
