Before Mind Music for Sound Therapy

An offering of sound for deep journeying, relaxation and heart-felt connection.

This track was born from an organic collaboration at Glastonbury Festival between myself and Arran Burton / Looking Flutes. Playing to a crammed live audience of ecstatic dancers and those seeking an alternative to the sound bath experience - it's a sonic exploration of the space between stillness and movement, crafted with a mixture of live, hand crafted meso american flutes and other percussion, shamanic chants, samples and recordings from nature.  It's a call to remember our connection to the Earth.

For listeners of artists like East Forest, Janax Pacha, and Desert Dwellers. This music is for you if you find yourself at events like Medicine Festival, All About Love, Soul Revolution or dancing in conscious community spaces.

Perfect for your daily meditation, a gentle yoga flow, sound healing sessions, the build up to an ecstatic conscious dance session, or simply a moment of reflection with a cup of tea.

Jalila x Krishnamurti - Not in Bombay

Krishnamurti has always been one of my favourite an most influential teachers. To take one of his talks and draw inspiration from it to not only create a track but also include his voice has been a privilege and I greatly thank the Krishnamurti Foundation for giving permission to use samples included.

Whether you use this track for relaxation, to fall asleep, in your yoga or meditation class I hope that the wisdom of Jiddu is exactly what you need.

Close your eyes and drop in. My third collaboration with Arran from Looking flutes and I think my favourite.

'Shakuhachi' is a deep fusion of worlds, where ancestral breath meets modern bass. Live-recorded, soulful melodies from the Japanese shakuhachi flute drift over a landscape of pulsating, earthy basslines and expansive ambient soundscapes.

This track was crafted as a soundtrack for inner exploration, a rumbling bass to anchor you deeply to the earth while the flute lifts your spirit. A perfect offering for conscious dancefloors, healing spaces, and sacred ceremonies.

1. Shakuhachi - Ambient sound journey - FREE DOWNLOAD

I remember my world changing as a 17 year old walking in to Londons iconic Whirlygig in Shoreditch during the early 90s. I attended religiously every week from that moment, along with other seminal nights such as Talvin Singhs ‘Anokha’ , ‘Joi’ , the Dub club in Tufnel park and  Megatripolis at Heaven. I was soon chasing down obscure music on my own travels around the world, swapping cigarettes for cassette tapes in Moroccan taxis and Indian markets . Along the way building  installations & running sound systems and outrageous stages for the biggest festivals in the country and people like Arcadia, music has always been a constant.

After sharing movement, breathwork and meditation for the past 20 years, I was diagnosed with progressive sight loss in 2024. Unable to continue with metal sculpture I returned to my roots of playing and making music and naturally fell into creating epic sound journeys , both djing and playing live.

It recently culminated in eight hours of electronic ecstatic dance and live electronic soundbaths at the 2025 Glastonbury festival.
