about a two years ago when i first started writing music and before i discovered i knew how to make some pretty sick beats of my own, i bought the backing beat to this song and wrote everything you hear over it. i wrote and recorded this one during a 30 min window i had while staying at a hotel in Pasadena, CA. all of the vocals need to be redone and they make me cringe as-is, but i like the song a lot.

the day i wrote it i had just experienced some dramatic things with a super-villain in my life, and this song came through me as a message. i like that it's kind of pop-driven, but ultimately is about the lyrics and the message of seeing yourself through the eyes of another. whether you choose to see yourself the way those who hate on you do or those who admire you, ultimately it's all a facade. literally. see yourself through your own eyes...take a look in the mirror. and if you're going to choose another POV, for fuck's sake choose the positive one. you can build up from there. #amirite?!

wrote this one on a silly casio keyboard that where the keys light up but really ended up liking the beat and melody. so this is going to be one of my next singles coming out in early August-part of a 3-song "chill pack". 

this one goes out to all those #sacredrebels out there who choose to see the patterns around them and refuse to go in circles. leveling up and eliminating patterns or circles you see in your life that no longer serve you = progress. let's lure ourselves away from #allthosecircles, shall we?
