Were back in the capital with the 8th installment of the Stil vor Talent Berlin compilation series, which brings forth a group of old and new faces, who exclusively contributed unreleased tracks, gathered under the umbrella of one of Berlins derelict treasures. Neukölln's Blub, short for "Berliner Luft- und Badeparadis", was a waterpark opened in 1985 in the Britz area. After its closure in 2002 the site fell into disrepair, waiting for housing redevelopment and revealing a fragile beauty in its decay as days go by. Like all of Berlin's remaining ruins, Blub serves as a reminder of long-gone times, while amplifying the current tensions between aggressive gentrification and useful repurposing. As always, music is the common denominator and Oliver Koletzki delivers the perfect soundtrack with this new release, while Chrisse Kunst renders the visuals.

The 76th release on Perspectives Digital sees the return of label boss Darin Epsilon's most popular track of all time remixed by Ukrainian phenomenon Miss Monique!

"My Own Time" was a landmark moment in Darin Epsilon's legendary career and became a viral sensation with over 3.3 million plays on YouTube, over 120,000 Spotify streams, and tens of thousands more on Soundcloud.  The track features the vocal talents of Alice Rose and was originally released in November 2015 as part of the "No Regrets" mini-album.  The combination of heartfelt lyrics, rolling bass groove, and unforgettable melodic arrangement saw the US artist capture the mid-decade musical zeitgeist with unerring precision.

Revisiting the track 5 years later, Ukrainian sensation Miss Monique makes her Perspectives Digital debut with a standout remix of "My Own Time". Darin Epsilon is a globally renowned DJ, producer, radio host, and label owner, widely celebrated as one of the pioneers of Melodic House & Techno and Progressive House. As the host of the Perspectives radio show and podcast, he has reached tens of thousands of listeners each month, solidifying his influence within the global dance music community. Since launching his label Perspectives Digital in 2010, Darin has continually expanded his artistic reach, further establishing himself as a key figure in the electronic music scene.

Originally from Chicago, Darin’s early career was shaped by his pivotal residency at the legendary Vision Nightclub. This was followed by his move to Los Angeles in 2008, where he worked with renowned brands such as Insomniac at Exchange LA, GIANT at Avalon and Vanguard, and Monday Night Social. His journey continued in 2017 when he relocated to Berlin, the world’s electronic music capital. By 2022, he further cemented his position on the global stage with a highly coveted DJ residency at Ritter Butzke, one of Berlin’s most beloved venues. 

Darin's career milestones are a testament to his pure talent and determination. In 2011, he gained international recognition by winning John Digweed’s 'Structures Two' DJ Competition, sponsored by Bedrock and Ableton Live, and in 2016, he was nominated for 'Best Progressive House Artist’ at the Beatport Awards. He also became the first artist ever to release a Progressive House production tutorial after teaming up with SonicAcademy.com, further demonstrating his expertise and commitment to music education.
