If you have been fortunate enough to party alongside this guy you will understand why he stands out from the usual crowd, the energy this boy creates in, and out of, the booth is un-fathomable. They say the perfect DJ will conduct the crowd and in term mirror him, hence why every party he plays at is a complete and utter jump-off!

He now hosts a regular weekend party Primo alongside Liaison head honcho Harry Hammond and plays regularly alongside the biggest names in the business from the likes of Miguel Campbell, Christian Smith, Martin Ikin, Cassy and Pirupa to name but a few.

The idea is to get the vibe going. Then you maintain the vibe with a trance inducing bass and the right lights. See, we're primal, heading for cosmic, and just when you think we're in galactic ecstasy, we go acid. It's hardcore nu-tronic mutilation. Now we get serious. See, we're going on a psychotically calibrated, electronically executed, digitally compressed, pus-excreting journey to sonic grooviness! The world is coming to an end, but we don't care, because we're moon-tan nocturnal, vinyl consuming animals drifting easy though friendly space. An analog trance, nothing can doom this groove; we're controlling the vibe, manipulating the madness, sucking in the energy and we have cosmic nerve endings that are telling us how to move, what to do, where to go and then we know, that it's time to let go.


Peder Mannerfelt splits the difference between playful immediacy and daring experimentation. You’re as likely to find him premiering a live show at Berlin’s Atonal festival as pulling apart fabled techno meccas from Berghain to Fabric with synapse-frying precision. One minute he’s being asked to remix Björk, and the next he’s dropping EPs of non-conformist techno for Karenn’s Voam label. 

As a prolific collaborator throughout his career, Mannerfelt has veered from the orchestral tension of Roll The Dice (with Malcolm Pardon) to the anything-goes maximalism of Aasthma (with Pär Grindvik). As a producer, he’s worked on every one of Fever Ray’s acclaimed albums and live shows, as well as projects from alt music heavyweights such as Smerz, Blonde Redhead and Glasser. His Peder Mannerfelt Produktions label has become another outlet for his singular approach, presenting his work alongside similarly experimental operators like Sissel Wincent, Machine Woman, Klara Lewis and Hodge. 

More recently, his PM+ series celebrates the immediacy of club-focused tracks, and Mannerfelt thrives on the energy and community of contemporary club music. What makes him different is his response to that energy, as he pushes the music’s possibilities in wild, unpredictable directions.
