I like what you did with your arrangement, with the added percussion and other voices it gives this iconic classic mega man track a cool bopping rhythm. It's also one of my favorite mega man hero character themes. Nice work!

I'm going to be overly critical because this is one of my favourite tracks from the game. While I think the idea of doing it as a battle theme is neat, I don't think this really did it. A lot of the 'feel' from the original is lost here because of how rigid the notes are, needs more bends and dynamics. I don't think the harp added anything at all and wasn't even audible for a lot of it. I'm not sure what was going on with the melody but you had melody played on several instruments of which one or two would drop out and rejoin randomly? And I don't know what you mean about the original's drum part, it didn't have one! 🤣

Restoration - Anti-Antivirus

This is a remix of "Proto Man Theme" (Megaman 3) done as a battle theme for a Pixel Mixers contest this month. I used the lead (played on midi flute, midi oboe, and brass synth) and bass (played on a synth bass and a midi organ) from the original (though altered a bit) and threw in a custom counter melody (played on harp synths) and original drum part (the original's was too repetitive so I rewrote it from scratch). I like this theme and thought it was ripe for a good remix. It turned out much more cheerful than the melancholy source, didn't it? What do you guys think of it?

This piece evolved from a progression of chords and harmonies I was experimenting with on acoustic guitar. I wanted to capture a sense of darkness and lingering ambiguity, something akin to film-noir style cinematography.
