Apr 2024 - Mega Man vs Sonic the Hedgehog

This is a remix of "Proto Man Theme" (Megaman 3) done as a battle theme for a Pixel Mixers contest this month. I used the lead (played on midi flute, midi oboe, and brass synth) and bass (played on a synth bass and a midi organ) from the original (though altered a bit) and threw in a custom counter melody (played on harp synths) and original drum part (the original's was too repetitive so I rewrote it from scratch). I like this theme and thought it was ripe for a good remix. It turned out much more cheerful than the melancholy source, didn't it? What do you guys think of it?
