Copenhagen’s Echocord label returns this September with the release of the ‘Invincible Nature’ EP by Altone, featuring remixes from Thomas Fehlmann and Another Channel. Altone, the alias of Tokyo-based Yuki Takasaki, is a prominent figure in the Japanese dub techno scene, having released music on labels such as Greyscale, Lempuyang, Vuo and Æ Recordings. His unique take on dub techno has garnered international recognition within the underground scene. Now, he joins the esteemed Echocord label, a significant force in dub techno for over two decades, led by Kenneth Christiansen.

Today’s premiere features a laid-back, dub-infused remix by the legendary Swiss producer and composer Thomas Fehlmann, known for his work with The Orb and releases on labels like Kompakt, R&S, Tresor and Apollo to name a few. The remix is characterized by rich sub-bass, glitchy synth modulations that keep morphing throughout the track, and soft dub stabs that add a distinctive touch.
The track premieres today on Delayed, with the official release scheduled for September 6th.

Borusiade lands on Dark Entries with their triumphant third LP, THE FALL: A Series of Documented Experiences. The Romanian producer and DJ Miruna Boruzescu aka Borusiade has a track record of genre-bending releases on tastemaking outlets like Cómeme, Pinkman, Cititrax, and of course Dark Entries, who unleashed their stunning 2020 sophomore album Fortunate Isolation. THE FALL builds on Borusiade’s mythos with its 9 brooding and sophisticated tracks investigating the contours of memory and embodiment - the “fragile bridge between body and mind” in Borusiade’s words. Moody basslines and melancholy synths wrestle with muscular rhythms; this is electronic body music for the heart and head. This is their most diaristic work to date, as well, chronicling love and loss through the gauze of reflection. Tracks like “Save Me”, “Recovery and Redemption”, and “The Fall” sprung from painful breakups, periods which Borusiade identifies as some of their most creatively fruitful, finding themselves “making the best music when I was brokenhearted.” There are odes to musical titans we’ve lost: the minimal electro producer Porn Darsteller is comemorated on “Darsteller”, while industrial legends Genesis P-Orrige and Lady Jaye are honored on “Pandrogyne.” THE FALL comes housed in a sleeve using Gautier D'Agoty’s “Essai d'Anatomie,” an anatomical work from 1745, and also includes a lyric sheet. Trauma, from lost love to pandemic isolation,  informs THE FALL, situating itself as a gap that can only be accessed through sound and the creation of art. “What can I add? When life gives you drama, make music.”

Cyberdom es el pseudónimo del DJ y productor Raymundo Van Domselaar, nacido en Argentina y criado en Mallorca. Desde su traslado a Barcelona en 2017, se ha sumergido de lleno en la escena underground de la ciudad, forjando una obsesión por el vinilo y los sintetizadores.
En poco tiempo, se ha consolidado como una figura activa en la escena Electro nacional, destacando por su impecable técnica de mezcla a vinilo y por sus producciones en sellos como Útil Records y Gente Seria Viste Chándal, entre otros.
Sus sets se caracterizan por encontrar un equilibrio perfecto entre lo experimental y lo bailable, fusionando géneros como el Electro, Techno, IDM y EBM logra sumergir al oyente en un viaje mental cargado de ritmos contundentes, paisajes distópicos y texturas industriales. El resultado es una experiencia auditiva que desafía los sentidos e invita a perderse en el baile. Esta propuesta lo ha llevado a presentar su característico sonido en clubs emblemáticos como Razzmatazz, Laut, Nitsa y Specka, siempre manteniéndose fiel a su estilo y logrando una fuerte conexión con el público.

ANNA Z has woven her presence into the tapestry of renowned clubs and events such as Berghain, Fuse, Tresor, Blitz, Gewölbe, RSO, Ohm and others. Her distinctive performances, overflowing with inventive sound design experiments, have become a defining feature of her influence within the dynamic musical environments.

Born beyond the Arctic Circle ANNA Z´s first visual experiences emerged from an environment whose images were marked by the northern lights, the snow, the dark and dense forests and the animals within. Very early she started taking several art curses, while she enjoyed an education that was specialized on mathematics and physics. She gained a deeper insight into the world of sound, frequencies and music in the most intimate way by learning several instruments with a focus on guitar.

After her graphic design studies, during which she focused more on her artistic skills and learned to work with several programs from editing software to complex 3d modeling and programming, she worked as a designer and illustrator for several years. 

Anna moved to Berlin in 2012 and started studying architecture at the University of Arts Berlin (Universität der Künste Berlin). She soon got into contact with the Berlin electronic music culture, especially with the modular synth scene and started designing and manufacturing some of her own musical gear. 2015 ANNA Z started to work with the visual guidance of the WERK crew. She soon became a part of the operating crew and record label (with J.Manuel). Her graphics became the face of WERK and the project, and now it would be inconceivable without her work.

Her art comes from the most different experiments, including, programming, hardware, drawing, photographies, oil and acrylic painting, all this with the music in mind. Besides experimenting with the following programs: quartz composer, max, processing, grasshopper, adobe programs, ableton live. She started making music on her own. Working with Reaktor and Cycling 74, she is creating her own instruments.

ANNA Z is a member of SPANDAU20 family, a Berlin based record Label.

Since 2021 ANNA Z has her own radio show KOMI on Radio80k,a non-commercial community radio in Germany. Komi believe in the spirit of the forest and nature, is free and independent like a nordic wind.
KOMI is open for each art of electronic and contemporary music, each guest is free to bring the authentic for the mix.

A one shot non stop back-to-back vinyl mix with my good friend Ave Sea in Berlin !! we did two sessions, this is the first one, the second will be up soon :)

Started in 1998 on basic.ch in Geneva and continued at reboot.fm in Berlin, as well as on www.mixcloud.com/plastiquedereve/ during the past two decades, the RETROFUTUR series aim at featuring gems, classics, rarities and lesser known tracks of the early developments of electronic dance music in the 70s, 80s & 90s, with a selection of tracks from my personal discothèque or that of similar-minded guest friends.
