With its 10th anniversary compilation just weeks away, Astropolis Records lifts the curtain on a new single before the main event — and it’s a serious one. 
The label brings together a dream collaboration between Dutch synth wizard Legowelt and Astropolis resident Cuften.

Titled ‘Liar’, the track is a raw, analog-fueled ride that channels the gritty spirit of electroclash, retro-futurist rave energy, and DIY ethos. 
Fueled by distorted robotic vocals, vintage drum machines, and gnarly synth lines, it plunges deep into the shadowy pulse of ’90s rave culture — a sound that both artists know inside out.

Marking a decade of sonic exploration, the upcoming vinyl compilation will gather longtime affiliates of the festival, cornerstone artists of the Astropolis family, and fresh faces from the electronic scene. 
Expect exclusive collaborations and unexpected encounters, all wrapped up in a release set to drop later this year. Stay tuned!

Paradisia Vol. XIII is the sixth compilation published by Gang of Ducks Records, curated by XIII, Alessio Capovilla, cofounder of the label.

Andrea Paz is a storyteller, a kind of musical narrator of tales, perhaps her experience as a theater scriptwriter has impregnated her dj sets and mixes with that feeling of time and space.
A quest to make us feel in transit, coming and going, at times immersed in a primitive cave to then see the light and shake us in the middle of the dance floor.
In this opportunity we can highlight unreleased tracks such as the Chilean TFRIED "Alien Sprached" and the recently released by Dilunar "La era de la serpiente, remix by filmmaker".

Andrea Paz, Chilean dj and producer;
has produced parties and concerts in Santiago de Chile since 2005, consolidating along the way the names of iconic parties and festivals of the Latin American electronic scene, such as CLUB SAUNA and RECREO FESTIVAL, in which she participates as creative, curator and resident dj.
Her career as a dj started in 2007.
In May of 2019 she releases her first LP "Cruz Dimensional" through her own record label "Discos Pato Carlos", the album was mixed and mastered by Uwe Schmidt (AtomTM) and distributed by KOMPAKT. 
His career includes performing in clubs, parties and festivals in different cities of Latin America; such as Sao Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Belo Horizonte, Lima, Buenos Aires, Mendoza, Bogota, Medellin, Cali, Mexico City and in the United States in; Pittsburgh, New York, Los Angeles, Washington. And recently toured Europe including dates in Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Barcelona, Zurich, Brussels and Berlin.

The result is mutant body music that owes as much to Throbbing Gristle and Cabaret Voltaire as it does to the darker corners of contemporary EBM.

Group Rhoda is the solo electronic music project of Mara Barenbaum, based out of Oakland, California. The project started around 2009 with a debut album ‘Out of Time, Out of Touch’ in 2012 on Night School Records and ‘12th House’ in 2013 on Not Not Fun. She is also one half of Max and Mara who released the album ‘Less Ness’ in 2013 on Dark Entries Records. She is committed to live performance, situated within the analog synthesizer and drum machine medium.

‘Wilderless’ is Group Rhoda’s third full length and first for Dark Entries Records. Each of the these 7 songs draw forth tones of tropical darkwave and soft industrial;  while negating the sound of conformity and control. The album explore themes of societal and spiritual displacement, contemporary serfdom, the depths of empathy, regeneration through destruction, and the tyranny of claiming recognition and power. Lyrics are poetically expressed through allegory and explore archetypes rooted more in abstract observation rather than hard line experience. Through transgression and imagination, Group Rhoda explores the arc of songwriting interwoven into stark electronic environments; and creates a bridge between the corporeal and the dream worlds.

Each song was mixed by Mark Pistel at Room 5 in San Francisco and mastered by George Horn at Fantasy Studios in Berkeley. Each LP is packaged in a jacket featuring a colorful custom made collage by Hugo Barros and includes a full color sticker and digital download card.
