Unique 3 has been on the razor’s edge of dance music since its’ inception. And has a worrying selection of scars to prove it.

Forever etched into warehouse legend with his pioneering of ‘Bleep House’, Unique 3 was instrumental in evolving House Music beyond its roots 
in Soul and Disco and into a futuristic soundscape that drove the progressions of dance music as we know it. 
Suggestions that the whole thing stemmed from an accidental recording of a knackered smoke alarm have been met with threats of violence from the Unique 3 camp, 
but there can be no doubt that it set the standard and the headspace for a staggering number of records that followed. 

Unique 3 has been cited by such luminaries as The Chemical Brothers, Coldcut, Goldie & LFO as inspiration. Not to mention the Teletubbies.

Unique 3’s groundbreaking early UK Hip-Hop bridged the gap from US Hip-Hop into a vibrant new sound that was to change music forever: 
'Activity' by Unique 3 was the first dance track to sample the infamous AMEN break & went on to become one of the most sampled records ever 
whilst being cited as one of the very few original ’Break-Beat’ tracks which later spawned ’Jungle’ then ’Drum & Bass’ & paved the way for Nu-Skool Breaks. 

The inclusion of Unique 3's - 'The Theme' on both The Chemical Brothers album of tracks that inspired them to make music: 'Brothers Gonna Work It Out' 
& on Warp Records’ collection of early House tracks that inspired them to set up their world famous label (later their download site BLEEP), an album aptly titled: 'Inspirations',

Edzy was recently reminded of Unique 3's iconic status in the history of dance music when 'The Theme' was voted the number 1 track played at the The Hacienda 
in the ’90s by the Deejays that played there. The fact that any of them can remember anything is testament to the hypnotic power of the Bleep.

Kicking off yet another chapter in a gloriously chequered career, Unique 3, who is currently signed to Rocstar Recordings - www.rocstar.com – 
has a new album, ‘Picture, No Sound’ forthcoming this summer. With a hectic release schedule that may or may not keep him in brandy for 10 or 15 minutes, 
a new single, 'On The Wire' is slated for release on 14th April with remixes from: B-Phreak, Anti-Slam & W.E.A.P.O.N. and DTC

After having been on the road as a Dj for over 15 years, Dayni eventually found himself drawn to the studio around 7 years ago. 
Over the years he has played countless sets at events across Switzerland and hosted a local radio show (Radio 3Fach) in Luzern, Switzerland. 
In 2006 Dayni secured himself third place in the pro-Dj voting on the drum and bass forum dogsonacid – right behind the big guns Andy C and Dj Friction. 
He quickly found a helping friend for studio sessions with Kyrad, who inspired and tought him valuable production techniques. 
He invested a great deal of time and effort into getting to grips with the ins and outs of music production and has finally arrived where he feels comfortable with his output in the studio. 
With initial releases on Dutty Audio and Translation Records under his belt, other lables have started to pay attention to his output more recently. 
His passion for drum and bass remains massive and it will surely remain that way for a long time to come.

As a child, when Tobias Hjørnet Pedersen discovered that everything has a sound, he became obsessed with rhythms and the tones of different materials. As a result of this youthful discovery Pedersen decided to pick up the drums...

...Several years later he joined a Reggae and Ska band in his hometown, and over the years developed a taste for mixing genres that wouldn’t necessarily fit seamlessly together in the first or second try but nonetheless would end up blending. This urge to fuse elements from different musical periods and styles has been the key drive in the creation of the Beastie Respond moniker.

The development of Beastie Respond’s sound started in the upper secondary school, though it wasn’t until four years later he came up with something he was confident showing to a larger audience.

Beastie Respond signed with the Danish label Teal Recordings in 2010, which released his debut EP in the summer of 2011, followed by another two EPs and his debut album “Fictitious Nostalgia” in 2013. Releasing one’s debut album is a milestone for any artist, and from there on Beastie Respond spent the following years redeveloping his sound again.

2016 brought the release of the EP ‘Back to the Future’ on RDG’s Circle Vision imprint. The EP took Pedersen’s taste for high intensity melodic synth music into a more modern realm.

With a persistent reluctance to stay in the same place for too long as well as a compulsive disengagement with the genres that tread water, Beastie Respond started working on his sophomore album in late 2015, and is now ready to present it publicly. The album ‘Information City’ will be released on the young Berlin based label Foul-Up. With the album, Pedersen reflects on an increasingly digitized society and what it is doing to us as citizens and humans, for better and for worse.

At the age of 7, Silviu Costinescu, the real name behind Alien Pimp and SubJazz, was living in the slums of Bucharest, Romania, playing football during the day and reading Jules Verne during the night.
At the age of 14, he was still living in the slums, but having his own show of alternative music on one of the first private radio stations in Bucharest, Radio Nova 22.
At the age of 20, he was awarded First Prize @ Assos Music New Talent Festival and started to get wide recognition as a local producer and performer.
At the age of 27. New York Times was seeing him as one of the main figures of the new Romanian music scene, had his face shown on CNN for pioneering Internet as a medium for artistic collaborations, he was long after 100 stage performances. He was also writing for several magazines and newspapers, most notably the Romanian Playboy and Popcorn. Also did a crazy Tarantinesque photo-shooting for FHM as a fashion model.
At the age of 35 he was a prominent name in the trenches of bass music in Barcelona, Spain, as a DJ, producer and promoter, after having toured half Europe.
Nowadays, in his early 40's, he started to discover Africa, taking a temporary break from the stages, but very active in the studio and on Internet, involved in many music projects, running a few record labels, managing bands and directing music videos.
