This is the part where I lose track of the lyrics despite looking at the lyrics sheet at the same time while listening... probably because i wasnt focused on the sheet, but the vocal is real wicked!! Doesnt even give a vocaloid vibe (for most) which i think is pretty beast. liked the instrumentals though!

This is an awesome track :D I listened to it on youtube previously, so I've only just really got around to commenting on it here. I've been using alter ego myself for the past several months and only just picked up the Marie Ork bank for my latest track. And after having used shreddage 2 myself I understand the amount of work that has probably gone into making this sound right :D So good job on it. Hearing this track was also the main inspiration for producing my own virtual metal track. Never heard anything quite this scary out of alter/ego.

Btw if you own chipspeech or ever plan on buying it I challenge you to make a metal track with the infamous Whispering Wendy, that voice freaks me out :P

Just listened to this for like the 3rd time in a row straight - just thought I'd say if you haven't done so already you should really tweet this to Plogues alter/ego & chipspeech account, they've no good demo song of the Marie Ork bank and I think this would make a great example of what could be done with it.

I'm still rather inexperienced with mixing in harsh vocals so I do apologize for the lack of clarity.

"This song is about my original character Zoya https://toyhou.se/1798812.zoya Here is her character page with art and facts in case you are curious about her.

This is Zoyas character theme. In contrast to "the Mistake", which is her sister Yevas song, "the Dreamer" represents warmth and partying! Zoya is a very charismatic character and holds up her positive reputation all on her own. But the song has a lot of shifts and some corruption, behind her polish and shine she has a lot of problems she tires to ignore. The vocals in the music represents her chattiness, and some of the beats represent the beach!

Both "the Mistake" and "the Dreamer" have each others main themes in them, so you will hear Zoyas theme and influence in Yevas, and vice versa. They also have the same "despair" theme in them, which you hear towards the end of both songs. Yeva and Zoya are family, and they are very close to one another.

I name my songs after words associated with the character that the song is about. Zoyas song is named "the Dreamer" because her peers think she wont achieve the things she wants, because Zoya does not know what she wants in life. I've always felt stronger to take things other say about you and twist them around to make yourself proud over your hardships."
