Josef Gaard (@josefgaard) is a project focused on music as a conduit. Originally based in the Seattle area and now settled in Berlin, he has been sharing his salient sound through productions and performances for years. With a 12" coming up on @kalawila ’s Mountain Explosion Device, he is continuing to push his music forward with a distinct touch. This mix showcases the different edges of his musical sphere, from nordic house to electro to techno and back again.

This Thursday 2 August he plays at OHM alongside the special live debut of Acronym (@4cr0nym) & @kali-malone.

Lo Kindre is one half of the team behind Phase Group. Right now he is holed up in isolation, somewhere in the south of Glasgow. The time alone gave him the opportunity to put some music together for you and we're sharing it here now as the next edition of the Phase Group Mix Series. 

When he's not in isolation, LK can be found making music and releasing it on labels like 12th isle, Neubau, Optimo Music and Byrd Out. He's a frequent collaborator with MR TC and an adherent to sounds of the dub-wise, psychedelic, lo-fi, left-field, experimental, emotional and mutant sides of music, like the sounds that you can hear in this mix.

Les morceaux sont issus de grandes improvisations où mélodies, textures et poésie s'agencent de manière organique et honnête. Avec pour but de conserver l'authenticité du moment vécu, les morceaux n'ont pas été réenregistrés en studio. Depuis, un flux continu de compositions émergent du collectif, accumulant plusieurs heures d'explorations. Dialogue avec le fleuve'
