Something about me:

Mena aka Anna Medve is born in Germany. Music has always been a passion of her because would be empty the life without music. 
She is not a professional DJ and starts late end of 2016 with the age of 62 as hobby. She plays only at home.
2013 she founds love for Progressive House Music, every kind of House Music, Techno but fallen in love to Trance. She listened on soundcloud as supporter to all kinds of music, on mixcloud and the internet radio Mixlr. 
At the end of 2016 she tried to put together sets by herself and used first only the software VDJ. 

She played on different Internet Radios guest sets like DI.FM on Oliver Planeix Minimal Madness, cuebase-fm, clubio.net, Future Beats Radio, Reykjavik Underground, Wamfm, most on Mixlr and since April 2020 as Resident Dj (Dj Mena) on www.futurebeatsradio.com 
At the end of 2023 Futurebeatsradio closes the Radio .

In early 2019 she tried to mix live on Mixlr and now it is her greatest passion to mix by herself. 
She loves special tracks and found her own style, loves and plays all genres of music. 
Her motto learning by doing with passion.

Why swap support, swap genuine listens, feedback and shares?

We are all competing with tens of millions of musicians; to say it’s overcrowded out there is a huge understatement, and it’s that overcrowding that makes it so difficult to reach an audience—it’s exactly like searching for a needle in a haystack, and who has the time to do that!

That’s why the support of other musicians is so important, that’s why the respect, the hype, the acknowledgement must start with us! When we are so dismissive of each other’s talent, why should a listening audience treat us any differently!   

When we disrespect, dismiss and shun each other’s talent and music, what we are saying to the world is, we don’t waste our time listening to the tunes of unsigned and independent musicians because they are inferior to those signed, established, musicians—it’s negative advertising!

If we are to have any chance of breaking the stranglehold of a mercenary music industry, if we are to have any chance of convincing a potential audience that our music is , more than not, actually superior to signed music, more inventive, more innovative, more creative, more imaginative, and a whole lot less formulaic!

Music has come a long way, it’s never been so diverse, so it’s ridiculous that people are forced to listen to formula conveyor belt music, high on production, low on substance! Listeners have no idea they are being spoon-fed scrag ends; they belief the myth that signed means superior—well I’ve heard enough unsigned music to know that just ain’t true….but we’re never going to prove that as long as we continue to treat each other’s music as though it were worthless! @MusiciansWithVision

PLEASE RETURN THE SUPPORT; I desperately need it too :) SHARE MY POSTS....IF YOU DO, YOU WILL RECEIVE HUNDREDFOLD SUPPORT OVER THE COMING MONTHS, A THOUSANDFOLD IN THE COMING YEARS--I've spent several months laying down the groundwork, developing a FREE-PROMOTION system, that makes this possible!

If UNSIGNED MUSICIANS don't learn to be more PRO-ACTIVE, and start exchanging support, the day will come when all UNSIGNED MUSIC SITES will die a death! Visits to pages will stop, and the listens will dry up--there won't any kind of audience left at all. Music sites become IMPOTENT when the musicians using them wait for the mountain to come to them, so be PRO-ACTIVE, exchange support, return the support, for your own sake! IF UNSIGNED MUSIC SITES die a death most of us will die a death with them, so do it for yourself--take my word for it, our survival, the incentive to continue creating tunes is dependent on MUTUAL SUPPORT!

Activity has been declining on Reverberation for some time now, and Myspace, which was buzzing during the first few years, is now useless! All music sites will eventually go the same way if unsigned musicians don't drastically change their attitude about EXCHANGE SUPPORT!

FEEDBACK FAMILY: REPOSTS no longer work and LIKES make no difference whatsoever; ONLY positive FEEDBACK makes a difference, a BIG difference. Feedback makes your account more VISIBLE so it brings MORE TRAFFIC, MORE LISTENERS—it also serves as GENUINE HYPE, visitors see the amount of feedback you receive and that arouses their curiosity to listen, and when they listen, seeing all that genuine hype influences the way they listen—they hear your music through POSITIVE EARS. 

The ABSENCE of feedback has the reverse psychological effect, it KILLS CURIOSITY, and those who do listen, listen with NEGATIVE EARS. Potential listeners rarely find your page in the first place because the LACK OF FEEDBACK means your music posts don’t appear in THE FEED, quickly disappearing from view. The music of those who DO enjoy feedback REMAINS in the feed, visible to viewers, and the visibility of their latest post is far greater than those who don’t receive feedback. 

The result, some of best music on Soundcloud goes UNNOTICED, which is why I propose the idea of a FEEDBACK FAMILY as a way of raising the profile of all those who joined this initiative. Twitter is a good place to coordinate such a project and I have an account set up on there specifically for that purpose.

MUSICIANS THAT HAVE A DIFFERENT ATTITUDE TO THE REST, TEND TO MAKE MUSIC THAT IS DIFFERENT TO THE REST!
It is common practice for musicians to click the like button on #Soundcloud without ever listening to the tune! There is no proof it was listened to, so it's impossible to know who genuinely likes a track! Only actual #feedback proves it's been heard!

I use to follow musicians back that clicked the like button, but it becomes very obvious that only 10% actually listen, when you receive five times as many likes as listens. This has made me extremely wary about being the first to leave feedback, and that kind of wariness spreads like wildfire!

Because of this, I only follow musicians back that leave feedback, or share one of my posts; and I will only leave feedback once if the favor isn't returned. it is better to keep searching for musicians who have enough #class and #humility to return the #respect!

#Musicians that have those qualities clearly have depth, creating tunes for the love of it, rather than simple to fuel their own ego, and fatten their bank accounts!
