We are happy to present another fine release from our beloved friends from Leipzig @Defrostatica Records. This time they are dropping the first stand alone Single from @DjBadshape aka Maria Schwind. Release date is the 14th of January 2022.

@DjBadshape is a multi-talented artist from Leipzig,
Germany, working in the fields of design and music. The singer, producer and DJ debuted on Defrostatica Records in Summer 2021 on the various artist compilation Hybrid Hooks with “I See Red”. Her light-footed and open-minded approach to club music was premiered and reviewed with great praise by Leipzig’s electronic music magazine Frohfroh. In her first own release on the label though she puts a different emphasis. Influenced by gritty personal events @DjBadshape has written two tracks that are on the dark side of two different genres: drum and bass and techno.
Hurrican Kick is a minimal autonomic drum and bass tune carried by
instruction calls from London’s roller skater star Stormskater. Few
percussive elements are floating around a hypnotic kick pattern that soon elevates the dancer in the ‘zone’.

Today, we have the honor of premiering yet another release for our friends at @Defrostatica records.
@Greazus return to the Leipzig-based label with a 4 track EP, influenced by UK hardcore, jungle, and electro and with a clear focus on taking raver's hearts by storm.
Or to put it in their own words: "This record is our love-letter to good ole' warehouse rave days. The era that we both think back fondly to, that inspired us, and where we cut our teeth musically."

"WTF" is an absolute belter of a tune, clocking in at 160 bpm, and provides relentless, fierce energy as soon as you hit the play button.
The tangy acid synth and nostalgic sample use in combination with sharp breaks sum up to an incredible production, that will leave no limb unshaken!

It’s been a while since the last premiere was featured on our platform, but when our good friend @photomvalian asked us if we’d be interested in sharing one of the tracks of his upcoming mini album ‘Eternal Sunshine’, we knew there would be absolutely no way around it!

‘Cant Stop’ manages to cross the gap between a strong sense of beautiful melancholia and invigorating intensity. A combination of outlying pads and obscure vocal samples levitate throughout the track, being driven forward by a relentless breakbeat pattern. It’s one of those tunes, where it’s up to you, what to use it for. Either closing your eyes, drifting off to your happy place or releasing all that accumulated energy on the dancefloor - the choice is yours.

‘Eternal Sunshine’ will be released on the 18th of December and will be available exclusively on Bandcamp.

A mysterious crackling noise, dubby, echoed chords, and the foreshadowing of an abysmal bass greet us on "Jigjag", the opening track of the "Along The Years LP" by Leipzig producer Borisson.
With his LP for Boundless Beatz he crafts a musical reflection of becoming part of the drum & bass scene in Leipzig and the evolvement of his passion for this culture. The development of social constructs, the experience of club cultural highlights and the acceptance of musical influences are rounded off in a package that, above all, brings a lot of vibe.
In times when concentration spans and tracks seem to be getting shorter and shorter, Borisson and Boundless Beatz take a different approach and present us music that you can lose yourself in. To create his very own vibe, he uses the full length of the tracks without drifting off into dullness. This is perfectly shown on "Jigjag", one of the slower tracks on the LP.
Dubtechno echoes meet arrangements that are reminiscent of dubstep and downbeats, completely engaging the listener and taking them on a journey. On the 7 minute long ride, you'll always spot new, fitting elements that merge into already known structures and rhythms that will feed your brain and soul.

"Jigjag" will be released on 19 April as a digital download & stream on the Boundless Beatz label.
