"Obviously, Fangamer and Mortis wanted to use the original soundtrack. They tried to reach out to the composer, ACC, to get the rights to use it... but ultimately, he felt nervous about signing anything and disappeared. However, he has stated that he doesn't mind that his music isn't being used, and he has no problem with the new soundtrack. So, it's a bit weird, but everything is chill.

That being said, OFF is a very atmospheric and memorable game, and the soundtrack contributed a lot to that. It's an integral part of the memories that people have built of this game. Trying to replace those songs feels like breaking into somebody's house and pasting your face into their family photo album.

But, Mortis asked me if I was interested, and, given that his game really inspired me, and he's a super nice guy... I decided I would try my best to help. To ensure that new players, even if they didn't get the exact same experience, would get a pretty cool one.

I ended up handling a lot of boss tracks. I attempted to match the game's "style" by aiming for idiosyncrasy and atmosphere over everything else. I think the results are pretty cool.

I also was assigned... the normal battle theme. I'm gonna be honest, just feels like I got assigned to take a bullet in the back for everybody else. I looked up almost every jazz song from the 1920s, I commissioned Carlos to make an entire fake jazz song for me so I could cut it up into samples, I tried making like 6 entirely different songs, but nothing I could come up with on my own felt quite right.

In the end, I summoned Camellia to help me out by re-remixing my first track into multiple versions, and so ultimately I think it will feel pretty cool as you go through the game. (But, I'll be the first to say that I can't replace your memories...)" - Toby Fox

I love the Dreemurr Reborn mod for Undertale (mostly because I love myself), but the fact that the creator gives no links or credits to who made all of the music that you can replace for the regular game's music is REALLY, REALLY bad.
In the Dreemurr Reborn mod, this music replaced "It's Showtime!".
HUGE thanks to SapphireGameing, revealed that this was made by Toby Fox for Cucumber Quest, for a character called Noisemaster, and Mettaton's theme uses a leitmotif of this. It also sucks because now I know that there are other versions of this on Soundcloud already, rending this version useless.
If it wasn't obvious, I didn't make this. Don't want to take credit for it.
Also, here's a link to the mod, in case you're interested in playing as Asriel. I love it a lot, despite some spelling/grammar mistakes (English isn't their first language, but you could use the help of translators), some plot holes with some changes they made to the story, and maybe two replacement songs I don't like as much as the original (easily returned back to normal, though.) I write pieces Depending on the piece of music I’m trying to put together based on the character and the lore, mostly it’s EDM, Electronic and trance mixed with other genres to create something unique . I use ai and pick several genres to pull a couple of samplers , then take the best of what the algorithm comes up with , bring it into audacity to apply the appropriate filters , fix any clips on the piece, maybe change the pitch , speed , some times apply reverb and see how it plays out.
