Gatecrasher 23rd Birthday 2016

This is the first installment of a series of Gatecrasher inspired Classic Trance mixes. Gatecrasher to me personally marked the beginning of a long journey into the very deepest echelons of the genre of Dance music. 
From listening to one of my mates' CD compilations through one earphone that I was sharing of his, I was hooked on this new kind of sound I had never heard before. After hearing this I then was made aware that this was a new movement of House and Trance music, and so I had to immerse myself in the best club experience, that I have still to this day, experienced in my life. There really is no way of being able to recreate those days in the Republic, other than gaining pure nostalgia from the treasured tracks that still stand strong today. I hope you enjoy this 2 hours plus and the future Gatecrasher Experiences mixes I will be recording.

Gatecrasher Experiences Ep. 1

Here is the second installment to my Gatecrasher Experiences series. This series will be focusing on the tracks that were one of the clubbing  pioneers of the best era of dance music, known as  Gatecrasher. In this second episode in the series, I have focused more on a peak time style mix, including some of the best known tracks of Classic Trance, which also have been played at Gatecrasher events or been featured on the brand's compilations throughout the years. Thankyou for the great response and feedback for the first episode, it absolutely blew me away. I only hope I can achieve the same with this episode and future episodes. This incredible all-day festival brought together some of the biggest names in the scene and it was an absolute treat to step behind the decks and inject some Trance magic on the Insomniacz REBOOTED stage.

This one was special and was more than just a set – it was a moment. The vibe was pure euphoria, and the Insomniacz and REBOOTED brands, once again raised the bar. My set was crafted with care – a potent blend of original Trance classics, fresh reworks and a few long-lost forgotten gems pulled from the archives to keep the energy riding high and the crowd completely locked in.

The atmosphere? Exuberant. The production? Top shelf. The crowd? Unstoppable. Seeing so many familiar faces and new fans alike coming together to lose themselves in the music reminded me of why we do what we do – to create lasting memories through the power of Trance.
