In this new series of Classic Trance mixes from myself, a "Vintage Trance Mix" will focus on the early of sounds Trance from the 90's to the late 2000's. Having been lucky enough to have collected Vinyl back in that era, I have built up a solid collection of tracks, this 2 hours plus mix does not even tip the iceberg of the calibre of of tracks that were being released at that time. This is the first installment of a series of Gatecrasher inspired Classic Trance mixes. Gatecrasher to me personally marked the beginning of a long journey into the very deepest echelons of the genre of Dance music. 
From listening to one of my mates' CD compilations through one earphone that I was sharing of his, I was hooked on this new kind of sound I had never heard before. After hearing this I then was made aware that this was a new movement of House and Trance music, and so I had to immerse myself in the best club experience, that I have still to this day, experienced in my life. There really is no way of being able to recreate those days in the Republic, other than gaining pure nostalgia from the treasured tracks that still stand strong today. I hope you enjoy this 2 hours plus and the future Gatecrasher Experiences mixes I will be recording.

Following in the footsteps of recent massive back catalogue releases - “Bullet in The Gun”, “ResuRection” and “Not Over Yet” we bring you the first of two packages of new remixes of “Southern Sun”. 

A Perfecto classic of mammoth proportions “Southern Sun” was a lead single of Paul Oakenfold’s massive No.1 selling artist album “Bunkka” which was released on Madonna’s Maverick record label in 2002.

Headlining the package of remixes is a classy prog house reworking from Moe Aly – who recently debuted on Perfecto with the massive single “Atlanta”. 

After Paul Oakenfold hammered Cold Blue’s 2012 hit “Coconut” relentlessly for several months it seemed right that we ask this uber talent to take on the challenge of creating something new with such a prestigious title as “Southern Sun”.  

The boy done good! A dark and moody version that crosses several genres and that will surely be a favourite with both trance and prog djs alike. 

Last up is Toolroom Records regular and Godskitchen resident Paul Thomas going progressive in a traditional sense with a Pryda-esque take on of “Southern Sun” that will undoubtedly go down a storm this summer at festivals around the globe.
