A Trance Yearbook of 1999 - Part Eight

This is the first installment of a series of Gatecrasher inspired Classic Trance mixes. Gatecrasher to me personally marked the beginning of a long journey into the very deepest echelons of the genre of Dance music. 
From listening to one of my mates' CD compilations through one earphone that I was sharing of his, I was hooked on this new kind of sound I had never heard before. After hearing this I then was made aware that this was a new movement of House and Trance music, and so I had to immerse myself in the best club experience, that I have still to this day, experienced in my life. There really is no way of being able to recreate those days in the Republic, other than gaining pure nostalgia from the treasured tracks that still stand strong today. Gatecrasher Experiences Ep. 1

Here is the second installment to my Gatecrasher Experiences series. This series will be focusing on the tracks that were one of the clubbing  pioneers of the best era of dance music, known as  Gatecrasher. In this second episode in the series, I have focused more on a peak time style mix, including some of the best known tracks of Classic Trance, which also have been played at Gatecrasher events or been featured on the brand's compilations throughout the years. Thankyou for the great response and feedback for the first episode, it absolutely blew me away. I only hope I can achieve the same with this episode and future episodes. Gatecrasher Experiences EP. 3

Hi guys here is the 4th installment of Gatecrasher Experiences. Sorry for the delay in getting this one out, but I had an accident with my laptop, which left me without it for a couple of weeks. This mix starts with a slow, chilled and deep sound, for the first hour. Exploring the more Progressive tracks that Gatecrasher would typically warm up their nights with deep tracks with a hint of a groove, to get your feet shuffling and your head nodding, allowing you to settle into the environment and to be able to have a chat and mooch about. Then we get into those typical Crasher Classics, bringing back those old memories of pure Euphoria.

Hi everyone, here we are again, this time with Gatecrasher Experiences episode 14. Up next for the guest DJ mix, is Stevie Carnie from Edinburgh who has crafted a nice Early mix to add to the series. Stevie has been listening to Trance from the late 90’s getting inspiration from Sasha’s Millennium Eve set at the Gatecrasher Don Valley Stadium event, Stevie has been a passionate fan of Crasher from then on. Starting off with Stage one to set set the mood for the 3 hour journey, featuring classics like Underworld - Dark & Long, Sasha - Xpander, Stevie’s early mix takes you through a nice build of Progressive tracks to ease you into the uplifting Late mix.
