Bushland Australia, In the afternoon about an hour before sunset each day. The Australian Cockatoos (Big noisy birds) come out of the bush and head to their nightly roost. They make a lot of noise and fly around and over my house.

So what happened was that More was at Kado's place then he started jamming alone in the living room/ studio with some synths and drum machines.
Kado decided to join in and without talking nor preparations they recorded a 31 minutes improvisation.
The day after they sent it to me to check it out and i was like ''man this is some pretty cool raw minimal techno groovy stuff, i think i would like to edit and add some stuff to this and make some tacks out of it.''
And they said yes.
I was mad happy.
So here is the first track out of this jam... other tracks will come eventually

Ryo Takematsu 武末亮 - Six - O-Seven Blues (EM Records)

This is a semi-generative patch that I started working on last night and simply fell in love with it...based on a minimal random sequence from the Korg SQ-1, clocked by the MFB dual lfo, and quantized by the O_c.  Rings being heavily modulated by some quick envelopes from Tides, and then played with by Clouds.  O-Coast providing the drone...new bits and pieces pop up throughout...

A simple patch I got lost in this evening, looping round and round, slight changes in texture thanks to the Morphagene and Clouds...bass vibration from intell's uVCF, Rings as the main voice..slight bit crushing by the Generation Loss... .

A variation of a patch I was working on earlier this week, but decided to record some guitar into Morphagene, and this is what transpired...Perhaps my favorite patch to date.  Pam's New Workout has really opened up the modular for me, as she is providing modulation and master clock to the entire system.  Some random gates are triggering Tides (from Intell's Noise Tools), which is providing some fast envelopes for Rings, which in turn is receiving semi-random sequences from the o_C, which is receiving some 'swing' CV from the SQ-1 (which is being clocked/CV swung from the MFB Dual LFO).  The 0-Coast and Morphagene are also being modulated by Pam.  Some processing by Clouds in granular mode, as well as the always present CT5, Generation Loss, Avalanche Run, Dark Star, DD3, & Julia...Timefactor on a return channel.  Recorded live into Albleton, with a little knob wiggling throughout, and a bit of EQ on the final render.

Trying some guitar loops/noodling processed thru the Morphagene.  Rings & Clouds for texture, 0-Coast droning a slow sequence from the SQ-1.  A one take jam into Ableton.  I just received the 1U line in module from Intellijel, and this(in addition to the Pitts In/Out as an FX send/return) has added the ability to bring the guitar into Eurorack...ideally this will allow me to perform live what I once could only achieve thru multi tracking.... at least that's the goal. ;-)

Moving into a space where I really would like to start playing improv/live sets, and using Cara for generative/random sequencing, albeit controlled, has helped in this process.  This is the continuation of a patch I've been focusing on...though I'm not terribly happy with the voicing on Rings on this take,  I really liked the way the manual music box felt on this, and was very much in the moment, so I kept the recording... .
