Every so often, amongst the Lithuanian gabba CDs, hopelessly small T-shirts and Inland Revenue notices, something lands on the DT desk that genuinely blows us away. The latest example of such an impression being made on the DT office is the new single from Paul Dixon, soon to be better known to you as Fyfe. Entitled ‘Holding On’ we were so enamored with the track upon first listen that we immediately set about securing Leon T. Pearl’s remix of the number as an exclusive premiere for your listening pleasure which we present to you today.

Preceding his much-anticipated debut album, ‘Control’ which is set to arrive via Believe Recordings March 9 alongside an 8 date tour this is a track from an artist you’re going to be hearing plenty about in 2015. Get yourself acquainted via Leon T. Pearl's rework now.

The return of Jubei to the Metalheadz fold as a recording artist. The success of his debut album ‘To Have & Have Not’  led to an intense touring schedule for Jubei, demand was high from United Kingdom to Japan and everywhere in between.  Following this Jubei took some time out from touring and returned to the studio to craft five tracks in his typical streamlined fashion. The tracks act a statement of intent from the producer, no one can quite match what he does and the music proves it. Lead track Congo is assured and confident, Paragon features new vocalist Rumour- cold soul against a bleak landscape. Further guest appearances come from Tyrone of Chroma and Steo accents the amen led Cold Corner. The EP closes with Haunt, a functional tool for DJ and dancefloors.  Listening to the EP in its entirety feels like Jubei never left, it’s a massively welcome return by one of Metalheadz leading lights.

Maher Daniel has been gaining substantial recognition in the past few years in the techno and house scene.

The San Francisco born DJ and Producer's career career really started to propel when he secured his residency at Montreal at the Stereo Nightclub, opening for some of the most recognized artists including Sasha, Ricardo Villalobos and Richie Hawtin. Since then, and with a move to rapidly ascending dance music center Barcelona in the mix, Maher has released on a who's who of the world best labels, starting with Bedrock and Rejected, moving on to All Day I Dream, Get Physical, Leftroom, My Favorite Robot, and Souvenir, and now gaining significant traction on No. 19 Music.

Needless to say, Maher has also graced the decks of some of the world's finest clubs, venues, and festivals, including Watergate (Berlin), Treehouse (Miami), Creamfields, ADE, Fabric (London), Spybar (Chicago), and the list goes on.

Today, we are proud to present this talented DJs take on deep dub and melodic techno house with the latest instalment in our podcast series. Philip Bader is all about personality. A true character to meet in person, he manages to convey that charisma into his music, both as a DJ and producer. Like the man himself, his music doesn’t take things too seriously. It is playful, wildly groovy and effortlessly underground. Previous outings on Davide Squillace’s This and That Lab, Saved Records, Dirtybird, Highgrade, Hive Audio and his own Dantze imprint to name just a few have highlighted his dexterity when it comes to producing club bombs, but it is through seeing him DJ in a club that really highlights the Berliner’s raw energy and passion for the scene. It is that enthusiasm that shines through all of Bader’s work and makes him the character that he is today. 2015 sees a true legend make his full debut on Out Of Mind Records, a label he has himself founded and will be curating. OOM002 sees the arrival of raw talent and familiar name Onno bringing his unique brand of muscular low end bass lines, against a no nonsense approach towards killer swinging grooves and heavy hip hop influences to the table.

Our Debut Transmission today comes from the joining Onno with the ever popular Ninetoes for a killer remix for the A side. From the word go, a robust 4/4 beat thrusts us into an industrial, organic energy ready for a coarse adventure into a truly defining remix. Far from his brightly glaring summer hit ‘Finder’, this dark track is to be locked far away from the sun, and taken into the dark basements of a chilling European winter night.

ONNO - Because (Ninetoes Remix)

Ant LaRock got his start on Todd Terry’s InHouse label in 2014, propelling him amongst House royalty and since then has been putting out consist House tracks under the mentorship of Todd into the New York House world. After several releases, 2015 brought major label remixes for the likes of Giorgio Moroder's pairing with Kyle Minogue on "Right Here Right Now" and future pop icon Petite Meller's "Babylove".  Ant's contributions helped both singles land heavily on Billboard Dance charts as well as on dance floors.

Ants new Universal EP for Nervous features the tracks ‘Universal’, ‘Deep Cracks’ and ‘More Love’ of which we premiere the lead track "Universal" on our Debut Transmission this morning. When asked about the EP he states, “It is an honour to have a release on such a venerable staple of House music. Nervous has been cemented in my record collection since the 90’s. I made tunes that I liked, that came from deep inside of me with no strings attached. The fact that Nervous felt that vibe is huge and pushes me forward" .

Austrian producer Aplot enjoys a January to remember with an exquisite new four track EP titled Lifetime on the way. The release is forthcoming on Tiefparterre Records (home to the likes of Beardyman, Joe Ariwa & Mad Professor amd Dj Vadim).

When looking at techno artists emerging over the past few years it is hard to find any that are maintaining the seemingly unstoppable momentum of Re.You. Hailing from Berlin the Mobilee mainstay has been winning plaudits across the globe for his distinctive brand of techno, having worked, recorded, remixed and released with a slew of the scene's most respected artists and labels.

Landing on Connected for the burgeoning imprint's third release, Re.You serves up a titanic three track tech triptych (try saying that with your mouth full) which will be no doubt soundtracking the small hours of a dance floor near you in the coming months.

Set to arrive February 5th, it took but a solitary listen for us to decide that the 'NapLater' EP's title track was a number that we just had to have first. Cue a conversation with the label and here we are ready to unveil 'NapLater', in all it's hypnotic glory for your listening delights today. Billed as "a mind and body experience" we're so enamoured with the cut that we might just have to dust off that yoga mat we got as a birthday present from an ex-girlfriend years ago and give meditation another try.

Whether he releases as Shed or Head High, the Ostgut Ton affiliate always pushes heavy-hitting, gritty house and techno that works wonders on a big system. 

His remix of 'Come On Kerrier' blends shiny, sharp synths with ferocious drum fills and chopped vocals. It's textbook Head High with all the glitziest elements of the Kerrier District original. File this under Euphoria-drenched stomper.
