We've got a lot of love for Citizenn here at Data Transmission. Having built a fierce reputation in the studio with a slew of well received EPs on some of the scenes hottest labels, we've enjoyed watching the man born Laurence Blake grow into one of our favourite producers, honing his sound as he found established his own distinct, sonic signature.

Thus it was with considerable excitement that we received word that he'd been working on a new EP for fellow DT favourite Sante's always on the money Avotre imprint.  Titled 'Fetishes' the EP sees Citizenn throw up two new club ready efforts sure to be get soles moving this winter.

'Resolution' opens the release with a dark intensity perfect for Berlin basements and cavernous warehouses alike, with shadowy atmospheres firmly the order of the day. The record really comes alive (in our opinion at least) on the flip, with B-side 'This Could Be Us' one of the most impressively assembled cuts we've heard this year. 7 minutes of subtly arranged vocals, sweeping synths and thickened pad work, you can expect to hear plenty of this cut over the coming months and rightly so, it's a banger.
