No stranger to the Hot Creations imprint, rising star Denney delivers two dance floor bombs with a stellar remix from crew member Luca Cazal.

On the A Side ‘Low Frequency’ gets to works with a low rumbling bassline, Todd Terry inspired beats injected with acid stabs and a high energy vocal to rock the dancefloor. On the flip ‘Pimp Out’ follows suit with an infectious acid bassline and monstrous build up, dropping into rolling percussions and flowing synths. Last up Luca Cazal remixes ‘Pimp Out’, stripping it back for a more raw interpretation, yet keeping it aimed straight at the peak time crowd. This is a great three track party starter of a release from Denney.

Ho ho ho! Christmas is in the air and we're starting to feel a little bit like Santa here at Data Transmission - no we've not put on weight and had too much sherry, you can never have to much sherry...- as we serve up our second free download of the week.

This time we've hooked up with our good friends over a Midnight Shift to bring you Kirk Degiorgio's expertly crafted vocal remix of Portuguese producer Ka§par's 'Let Me Be'. Originally offered up as a bonus track for those who pre-ordered Ka§par's inbound 'Sisyphean Rage' EP, the remix sees the UK techno veteran sprinkle his magic on the record's B-side, transforming the "ruff n’ tuff house-meets-techno tumble" into a far lighter affair, with uplifting pad work underpinning Jerry The Cat's retrofitted vocals.

A varied record sure to pick up plenty of attention upon it's January 11th arrival you can download Kirk's vocal edit of 'Let me Be' below.

Nuno Dos Santos, the Portugal-born Dutch national has a cheeky charm about him that is difficult to escape and that works so well in his favor when taking control of the decks.

Whether it’s running his own label Something Happening Somewhere, producing music, or DJing, you can feel that Nuno is utterly in love with what he does. We've got a lot of love for Citizenn here at Data Transmission. Having built a fierce reputation in the studio with a slew of well received EPs on some of the scenes hottest labels, we've enjoyed watching the man born Laurence Blake grow into one of our favourite producers, honing his sound as he found established his own distinct, sonic signature.

Thus it was with considerable excitement that we received word that he'd been working on a new EP for fellow DT favourite Sante's always on the money Avotre imprint.  Titled 'Fetishes' the EP sees Citizenn throw up two new club ready efforts sure to be get soles moving this winter.

'Resolution' opens the release with a dark intensity perfect for Berlin basements and cavernous warehouses alike, with shadowy atmospheres firmly the order of the day. The record really comes alive (in our opinion at least) on the flip, with B-side 'This Could Be Us' one of the most impressively assembled cuts we've heard this year. 7 minutes of subtly arranged vocals, sweeping synths and thickened pad work, you can expect to hear plenty of this cut over the coming months and rightly so, it's a banger.
