Don’t call it a comeback! Unorthodox techno producer Dan Curtin has relaunched of his Metamorphic label and guess what? We’ve only gone and got him on the bloody DT podcast to celebrate!

Having cut his teeth on the Cleveland circuit, Curtin’s impressive discography dates back to 1992, with his first releases for Detroit’s 33RPM Records and Belgium’s Buzz Records quickly establishing him a fierce reputation for his work in the studio. Now based in Berlin, Dan has gradually extended his reach across the globe appearing at many of the world’s best clubs.

As astute in the DJ booth as the studio, Dan is now ramping up his production game for 2015 with a new EP featuring African vocalist Habida on Turquoise Blue set to follow the release of ‘Space Pressure’ EP which is out now on his own Metamorphic imprint.

Dan explores a wide range of four-to-the-floor beats in his podcast mix, journeying through a variety of driving techno numbers before venturing into slightly more abstract soundscapes. Masterfully maintaining intensity throughout, Dan has us locked in from start to finish. We can't imagine a better way to start the week although his selections have already got us eagerly eyeing up the coming weekend.
