Ever since 'The Wrap Around' dropped in 2012, Detroit Swindle have been on a serious upward trajectory.

That tune, released on the EP of the same name via Huxley's Saints & Sonnets, was a mission statement for the Amsterdam duo's insatiable style of house music; all big, flabby basslines and struttin' percussion laced with the essence of a fucking good time.

Oviedo (España) – 1985. Asturiano, madrileño de adopción, profesor de inglés en primaria, pero ante todo, amante de la música…
Comienza a interesarse por ella ya desde su infancia. Hijo de músicos, ha crecido en un entorno musical, relacionándose con muchos aspectos del mundillo, especialmente el artístico. A los 7 años estudia saxofón durante varios años.

Con 16 años comienza a interesarse por el género electrónico y a desarrollar y ampliar un gran abanico de gustos musicales. Es un gran seguidor de estilos tan diferentes como el rock, el pop o el jazz, predominando siempre la música con raíces negras como el funk, el soul, el R&B o el hip-hop.

En ese momento es cuando decide dedicar sus habilidades musicales en el mundo de la música electrónica, empieza a coleccionar vinilos de muchos estilos musicales, predominando siempre la electrónica. También se hace con su primeros platos y mesa de mezclas y de manera autodidacta comienza a mezclar música.

Dentro de la electrónica siempre se ha decantado por los estilos mas cercanos al house americano y más clásico a la hora de tener alguna actuación, así como sub-estilos como deep, acid, progressive, funk o latin; sin dejar nunca de lado su pasión por la música techno y sus variantes.

Su pasión y gusto por la música le ha llevado a pinchar en clubes de Madrid como Café La Palma, Copola Club, o Fabrik en la sesión Goa. En Asturias ha tenido la fortuna de participar en las fiestas Creative Sessions, en la discoteca La Real, y de pinchar en algún club mas pequeño de la provincia tanto en Gijón como en Oviedo.

Forma parte del colectivo / asociación de música electrónica de Tres Cantos (Madrid), 3K Sound Community y a partir de 2011 entra a formar parte del booking de Pure Artists.
