Appendix.files presents Eternal Game, the latest EP from Teleself, the project of Berlin-based producer Jordan Nason. A journey through the emotive undercurrents of 90s downtempo rave, steady breakbeats, and trip-hop influences, Eternal Game captures a nostalgia-tinged exploration of sound and self. Across six tracks, Teleself weaves big beats, introspective atmospheres, and cinematic textures into a release that feels as at home in a smoky backroom as it does in sprawling, dreamlike landscapes.

Opening with enigmadub, Teleself sets the stage with over seven minutes of trippy, big-room energy—triumphant, hypnotic, and as if plucked from the soundtracks of The Matrix or Blade. everything follows, layering Alona Verzun’s ethereal vocals over steady, polished grooves for an atmospheric six-minute reverie. Title track eternal game shifts gears, evoking the slowed-down, syrupy aesthetic of DJ Krush but pairing it with emotive melodic elements, immersing the listener in a nostalgic montage of self-reflection.

On cartilage, Teleself leans into darker territory, blending boom-bap rhythms with Mob Deep-style aggression, while weaving in trap and Detroit techno influences for a sinister, kinetic cut. The energy eases with all around you, which delivers a halftime sway infused with rich, textured atmospheres that feel like a deep exhale. Closing track fireworks in the garden of eden is a stunning finale—a transcendent journey that lives up to its name, as lush soundscapes evoke an ascent into the ether, hand in hand with everyone you’ve ever known and loved.

Nanna is a Danish, Berlin-based DJ with a love for peculiar sounds and anything with a heavy bass. She co-hosts a bi-monthly radio show called bleeps&bloops on the community radio @beton.fm, where she explores different genres and moods, carefully curating sonic stories, switching between styles and BPMs. Her focus is on contrast, curating balance between heavy bass and soothing voices. She recently started playing for a dance floor which inspired her to move out of her comfort zone and the ambient world. Her mix for BassAngels explores her recent fascination with dubstep but is of course not limited to that - no mix is complete without a little bit of drum and bass and a little bit of sentimentality.

@SSSLIP and @Betonbrutt have tapped up grime pioneer Trim to add his bars on 17th Grid release, pressed for the first time on vinyl !

Trim steps up to the mic for the lead track, 'Pigeons', which brings next-gen grime energy with raw, club-ready vibes and menacing bars that are underpinned by a wobbly low end, and it's all perfect for dance floor detonation. 'Transit Limb' dives into a nostalgic yet forward-thinking fusion of experimental grime and UK bass that subtly echoes the sounds of the early 2010s with twisted breaks and chopped vocals.
The boys also invited @Notiiton and @BeatriceMasters for two great remixes, Noti turned the lead track into a precise electro banger and Beatrice drowned Transit Limb to the darkest depths of the ocean to close the EP.
