I love an immersive experience. I love visual art, especially in galleries (or spaces acting like galleries), where it's installed in a way that's spatially aware. I like big textural things. I think it's neat the way we can create and project textures digitally now too.

Bully - Feels Like, Wavves & Cloud Nothings - No Life For Me, Erykah Badu - Baduizm, Alvvays - self titled, and DIANA - Familiar Touch are all albums I find myself coming back to lately.  Honestly lots of Phoebe Bridgers these days too.

I'm always trying to build towards the 🤯 moment where the bass is in your nose and you can't wipe the grin off your face and even when you close your eyes you can still somehow feel everyone else who's there.

OK - divisive but I fall squarely fall in the Pioneer mixer camp. So, 2 cdjs, either 2000 nexus or nexus 2, or xdj 1000s + a pioneer mixer. Sorry not sorry to all the xone die hards. I don't really play records and every so often I'll hit a spot where I'm wishing for three decks but I usually just play on two.

Booth monitor on the right, sub in the booth but not in a way that it turns the booth into a bass trap.

I like it when the lighting is dim and red (and not too strobe-y) and you can see the crowd enough but not too much, a lil hazy from fog, and a clip light on the mixer to see what you're doing in the darkness.

I also need some space behind the booth to dance and pile up my friend's coats 😆

I'm easy though, happy to play in most set ups :)

I'm really looking forwards to hearing Anz - Loos in Twos (NRG) on a big system for the first time, whether it's me playing it or someone else. That whole release is 🔥🔥🔥🔥 all the way through and I'm so ready to greet it on a dance floor.

I've also been gettin a lot of mileage out of COLDR007 by Elmono. It's so bassy and spastic, it makes me wanna lose my mind in the best way. There's this one track, salad holder, and I'm really looking forward to playing it at the exact right moment and making someone's night.

Pierre Rousseau and Aurélien Arbet explore an interpolation of various recordings and formats, often at the margins of traditional records and conventional styles of music. During an hour, a long oscillation is formed out of a selection of interviews, spoken word, poetry, music for dance or art, and various field recordings. Pierre Rousseau is a composer and producer, crafting electronic sound for pop music, film, and experimental projects. Aurélien Arbet is an art director and photographer, co-founder of the clothing brand and publishing house Études.
