Strange Neighbours is the dynamic DJ/producer duo of Dan and Dean, lifelong friends who first cut their teeth in the small town of Newbury before carving out a reputation on the UK house music circuit. With over a decade of experience behind the decks and in the studio, the pair have steadily built a catalogue of releases that showcase their distinctive sound and energy.

Now based across two locations—Dan in Leeds, immersed in one of the UK’s most vibrant house music hubs, and Dean in Reading—the duo are expanding their reach and influence across both scenes. This geographical split has only strengthened their vision: to push their music further and connect with diverse audiences while staying true to their underground roots.

Their journey so far has seen them signed to respected imprints including Under No Illusion, Defined Music, Talk of the Town, and Wyldcard Records. Their remix of Demarkus Lewis climbed to #19 on the Traxsource Jackin House Chart, while their recent release on Unlearn Records broke into the Beatport Tech House Top 100, peaking at #45.

With a proven track record of quality releases, a decade of experience, and fresh momentum from their dual-location presence, Strange Neighbours are fast becoming an exciting up-and-coming name in house music.

Artist Bio
London born Simeon Clarke has been a rapidly rising name on the tech-house scene over the past few years as he continues to stamp his authority through a string of high-calibre track releases and show-stopping performances.

Developing his unique vibe from a young age, Simeon had quite the musical upbringing and education which has led to unearthing a unique frequency within both his live sets and music production. It is quite rare to hear subtle nuances of jungle, acid house and techno within a groove but Simeon accomplishes this with style.

A sound flushed with his Caribbean roots, the South London DJ/ Producer has taken many of his musical influences and fused them with dynamite energy and vibrancy, offering an authentic groove and wonderful array of eclectic sonics. Numerous vocal and hook elements blissfully communicate to produce his bass-driven style of tech-house.

Frequenting lineups at some of London’s finest underground hotspots, Simeon continues to create his niche brand and identity. The widely-adored EGG LDN leads an impressive CV, following several notable performances at the venue. Ministry Of Sound ‘The Gallery’ and Fire & Lightbox also feature heavily amongst some of the UK’s top festivals, including, We Are Festival and 51st State.

The famed House FM soon came calling and a long-running residency on the beloved electronic music station, which in turn has been followed up with a weekly (Thursday 12PM BST) on the mighty Data Transmission which has further enhanced his rising status.

Firmly on the production trail, Simeon has seen his tracks featured on London based label, Pathogen Productions (2015) and has since launched his Dog Wax Records imprint focusing on real bass-driven and driving house music.

In a post COVID world, the future looks bright for Simeon Clarke as he continues his assault on the scene through his unique vibes and unrivalled energy that has become the mainstay on all his highlight reels.
