JAN DE VICE is a German DJ and producer of Techno and Hard-Trance and founder of the label DEERFLOW RECORDINGS. His first attempts as a musician date back to the early 90s when he started making music with Atari ST, Roland Alpha Juno 1, TB-303, TR-909 and various other analog synthesizers.

His tracks have reached top positions in the Beatport and iTunes charts. Like for example his Techno banger "Feel The Heat", in the Beatport Hype Charts Top10 on place 6 and Beatport Top100 sale charts place 16.

He is supported worldwide by renowned DJs such as Armin van Buuren, Danny Ávila, Ferry Corsten, Nicole Moudaber, Marie Vaunt, The YellowHeads, Andrew Rayel (to name but a few) and can be found on top Spotify playlists.

Jan´s new DJ show called "RETURNAL REVOLUTION". There he presents the latest Techno, EDM/Mainstage and Tech-Trance tracks of this world. You can also listen to his DJ mixes her on Soundcloud.

SLC-6 Music is a record label based on California's Central Coast near one the world's most prolific space and missile bases. There has long been a connection between space, technology, electronics, and music. Founded by dj/producer D.J. MacIntyre, SLC-6 Music is an idea with a nod back to history, and forward to the future, with releases from the house and techno musical families.

SLC-6 Music derives its name from, and is a tribute to, Space Launch Complex 6 at Vandenberg Air Force Base in Lompoc, California.  The history of SLC-6 is fascinating and filled with dreams of progress, dreams thwarted, and reinvention.  A multi-billion dollar project, the complex was built with the intention to launch NASA's Space Shuttle from the west coast of the United States.  After the Space Shuttle Challenger was tragically destroyed, NASA re-evaluated the Space Shuttle Program and the decision was made to scrap the plan to launch from Vandenberg.  The world was space-crazed and the city of Lompoc eagerly anticipated the increase in tourism and boost to the economy that being home to the Space Shuttle would bring.  When plans changed, Lompoc was left with disappointment and a lot of underused hotels.  For many years SLC-6 symbolized the dashed dreams of those looking to push the limits of our human reach, and those of a small California town.

The re-emergence of SLC-6 began with lower profile missile launches in the 1990's, but it was with the decision to launch the massive Delta IV rocket that the complex again began to regain the aura it once had.  As successful Delta IV launches followed one another, SLC-6 came again to symbolize progress, hope, and a reach for the sky.

 

SLC-6 Music embraces parallel attributes to the vaunted Space Launch Complex -  resilience, progression, technological advancement, and a gaze cast upward into space.  We hope the music brings you the same sense of wonder and mystery that one experiences when observing a rocket launch into space.

With a sound that is hypnotic, dark, and euphoric, D.J. MacIntyre is a champion of progressive electronic music in its varied forms.  His musical art is the synthesis of life experiences gathered during explorations of philosophy, Indian mythology, and winemaking.  Synthesizing musical elements is at the heart of the art of djing - the mix expressed reflects the mix within. 

Not only are MacIntyre’s dj sets borderless in scope, but so too are his productions, often incorporating various influences and stylistic blueprints.  As a producer and remixer, D.J. MacIntyre has, in a relatively short period, produced a substantial body of work, and is only gaining momentum with time.  His debut album, Tandava, planted his flag in the electronic music landscape, and subsequent releases have received acclaim from some of the world's most prominent djs, having been found up and down the Beatport charts.

Well-traveled as a dj, the Santa Barbara, California resident has performed worldwide - from Burning Man to Moscow, Playa del Carmen to Siberia - and all across the United States, including New York, Dallas, Oakland, and Los Angeles. He is equally at home in a dark basement club, as in an open-air festival.

D.J. MacIntyre also wears the hat of record label founder, having formed the boutique label SLC-6 Music with the mission of building artistic community through the release of top quality music from producers he meets on his journey.
