◾Real Name: Ruben Padro

◾Current city: My current city is Atlanta but originally from New York City.

◾How did you come up with your dj name: The name Rubiano was given to me by my friend carmine back in New York about 20 years ago..the Don was also a second name that I was referred to because of the way I dressed( all in black dressed like a wise guy and wore diamond pinky rings lol)

◾When did you start djing: I first started Dj’ing back in 1988

◾Favorite dj moment: my favorite dj moment was back in 91 I was 16 years old playing at a well know club that was actually an open air venue called the Amazon club in Manhattan, that night I met Eddie Murphy and The Godfather of house music, the late great frankie knuckles who actually introduced himself to me while I was playing his record “the whistle song” I didn’t even know that he was there at the moment..what a night that was

◾Favorite genre/subgenre to spin: my favorite genre is techno, now I’ve played everything from freestyle, house, deep house, Latin house,tribal,trance, progressive house, tech house etc..

◾Favorite artists: favorite artist is Emmanuel
