This month's mix comes courtesy of UK based DJ Zed. The founder of the Skankout streaming collective on Facebook, Zed gave a platform for DJs to perform when the world went into lockdown. Fostering a community far and wide over the globe, Zed & Skankout have given DJs and listeners alike to discover new audiences and performers, whilst pushing the sound of drum and bass. The platform has also given opportunity to new up and coming DJs to hone their skills infront of an audience. 
In this mix, Zed takes it back to the "Golden Era" of drum and bass, a time when he was cutting his teeth as a DJ, playing in dark and sweaty clubs in London.

CABOO – Kosovo-born DJ & Producer Based in Germany

CABOO is a DJ and music producer based in Germany, originally from Kosovo. With a distinctive sound and vibrant stage presence, he has become a respected figure in the European electronic music scene. Caboo’s performances are characterized by an energetic atmosphere and immersive sonic storytelling, created through a masterful selection of top musical records and deep, emotional fragments that connect both the individual listener and the collective crowd.

Throughout his career, Caboo has shared the stage with internationally renowned artists such as Diplo, Meduza, Calvin Harris, Black Coffee, Peggy Gou, Mahmut Orhan, Groove Armada, and The Martinez Brothers, among others.

His sets explore a wide spectrum of electronic genres, including:
Techno, Melodic Techno, Tech House, Deep Tech, Minimal, and Afro House.

🍑Sfunk started with vinyl in 1999 playing for her own enjoyment. She hosted 2 shows on 90.3 WRST- Electronic Underground and Nocturnal Dimensions bringing in midwest djs while rave was under attack by the Rave Act. She took a break while being a badass roller derby player & official, moved to Detroit to join the circus but sadly tore her meniscus right before flying trapeze school. 
An abrupt relocation back to Wi in 2020 saw her entered the digital world. She jumped to Houston joining forces with Soul Bass Project & later HDC Houston Dj Collective. During that time still playing for herself and playing intimate house parties, sfunk went on to play her first party Barnyard Boogie #19 in Chicagoland in 2021 right to playing the historic Houston Silos for SDC's Where the Wild Things Are, to blessing the skyline views at Sunset in downtown Houston for TheCrew/BassMafia's SOLID monthly. Being a traveler and snowbird having the opportunity to play legendary barns in the Midwest, Sparnfunkel, Kompound, (((dB))), then smaller fest Halloween Dream Festival in IL, DJ Sun's own The Flat in Houston, Bauhaus Houston, As One & Cultivate at Electric Lounge Oshkosh, WI, Green Bay, Stevens Point, Milwaukee, Fox Lake & Chicago, IL, Mic Check's Planet OOO Fest from the main stage TreeHouse... 2024 Jungle Bells Closing Ceremony in Atlanta, GA, Opened for MPH at Bauhaus, Minneapolis MN Mechanix, Frolic Montrose Bach, Chicago IL.
