Festival Summer inspiration. After having the privilege to play on multiple occasions for you this summer, spreading love, happiness, and healing through music, I'm finally starting to upload my sets to SoundCloud. This set is heavily inspired by the incredible festival season comeback after the 2-year pandemic break.

A hypnotic driving beat, with a lightness to it and an easy stylishness keeps you moving forward.

Thick, full, juicy bass synth elements guide the way.

Long buildups with midpoint crescendos that keep on giving until all your hairs stand on end.

Breakdowns and drops that destroy everything, and feel like the track is exploding and being ripped apart into juicy particles flooding the spectrum in all sorts of crazy ways. Just to be rearranged and put back together again in a new way. Much the same as how we experience the ebb and flow of life.

This is the sound of my Cosmic March set.

Packed with some special cuts of electronic music, we celebrate release No. 50 with 12 exclusive tracks from old and new faces. Feeling touched by the artists, each one spends insights to their musical heart and creative mind, providing an exceptional flavor that represent the full spectrum of the label. The golden thread connects beautiful weirdness with a unique sense for humor in music, which is stuffed in highly danceable tunes.

KARAAT’s „Takeover“ is the perfect entry for an adventurous trip; a smooth bass interrupted by a lovely monsterous sound leaves no doubt. EDGAR PENG unfolds his jewel called „Trilla“, high-class subtleness with deep, arpy & vibrant sounds. Lazerslut MIRO PAJIC at his best by pairing rhythmic porn; clean but dirty sounds with the affection for a freakin’ vibe. A warm welcome for THOMAS KLIPPS and his brilliant work „Second Fault“ with its patient build-up awaiting peaky rave moments! Label head BEE LINCOLN lets out the bass giant „Grip“ and turns over for amazing artist friends like SOUL DATA / TRIPTAH. „Clues“ is a raw and acid-/synth’ party animal, which shows how fluidly genres can melt on this selection.

2nd label debut is FELIX HEERMANN, a creative rave and music mind! „Baam FM“ has been a napping tune on his hard disk, but now this joyful piece with a touch of Stammheim Kassel sounds brings pleasure to each after- & überhour. Lauter boy MAXIMILLION’s „Capital Growth“ is a solid dance floor tune with abnormal fresh- & tightness! DIDIER DLB completes the Turmspringer duo and comes with „Acid Cella“, a fat analogue sounding work straight outta’ his lab. South German youngster DARIO is on for a „Dance“ and reaches it without compromises! Warm basses and melodic sounds in PEPE MATEOS´ „Bajo Fondo” are not less than a fulfilled aesthetic experience. Last but not least COCO joins the circle and releases his first official track „Die Tuer“, a genius musical work with crispy live recorded sounds. Thereby it literally closes the door of the „NUMBER FIFTY” compilation. Boarding completed.

KickDr regresa a Moom Sound con Dubtitles, un corte que destila escucha profunda y respeto por la herencia dub sin quedarse atrapado en ella. El track nace de una inmersión consciente en el ADN del género —desde los ecos primigenios del dub jamaicano hasta su traducción electrónica más elegante— y lo reinterpreta desde una óptica house cálida, espaciosa y en constante movimiento.

Dubtitles se construye sobre un groove flexible, con bajos redondos que respiran y acordes que flotan como vapor salino. No busca el impacto inmediato, sino la persistencia: esa cualidad que hace que un tema funcione igual de bien al atardecer en la playa, en un club de volumen medio o sonando de fondo mientras la noche se acomoda. Es música pensada para acompañar momentos, no para imponerlos.

Con este lanzamiento, KickDr afianza una identidad cada vez más reconocible: producciones honestas, de tacto analógico y vocación atemporal. Dubtitles confirma que el dub, cuando se entiende como lenguaje y no como fórmula, sigue siendo un territorio fértil dentro de la electrónica contemporánea.

David Braun is a Berlin-based DJ, serving up a smooth blend of melodic techno, progressive house, organica, and downtempo, with a touch of acoustic, tribal rhythms and groovy bass lines.

Known for his peak-hour melodic techno anthems, but also for the more mood-shifting hypnotic grooves and chill vibes, he crafts his sets around taking the listener on a musical journey. He regularly tours the world with his music and is currently playing all over Peru and greater Latin America. 

Music is his own therapy. And with a strong belief in the positive impact of music on one’s mental well-being, Braun has pledged to donate 100% of the proceeds from his performances to his mental health nonprofit, the Mind Well Foundation.
