This mix was originally a double CD that Ultra Records put out. I have mixed the two parts together as the CD's were made to be mixed together anyway. This version has Sasha's Horse with no name Remix as I had always intended to use this track.. Ultra could not secure the license for it in time....

Just aTypical Tuesday's are basically exactly that, not your typical Tuesdays when it comes to the music format. As a 30+ year dj and someone who has devoted his entire life to music I wanted to have a night where its a much more open format concept and not just tied to any one specific genre. This 1st instalment I decided to go with a deep house/ deep tech format, some older tracks and some newer tracks. Hope you all enjoy the journey and if so please give a like and a share. All good things must come to an end - and boy this was a good thing

For the best part of 8 years, Emily & Laura, the heart and soul of Big Fish Little Fish here in Melbourne have entrusted Simon Murphy and I to be its musical heart. 

We have opened and closed every event and it has been an absolute honour and privilege to provide the soundtrack to countless moments. Our rave friends have become our family friends and now with our children we have been able to forge more memories, tied to the amazing music we grew up on.

It was never lost on me how important and special these moments were. 

This set captures my early days of clubbing in the early 00s. It was a nod to venues like Room680, Billboards & Platform One where my friends and I would dance the night away to electro house. A simpler time!
