Merlin Bobb, New York native and celebrated DJ, producer, and music executive is widely recognized as a pioneer of house music. His groundbreaking contributions continue to earn acclaim, including his highly anticipated Boiler Room debut DJ set in 2023.

Merlin’s career began on the airwaves with his first mix show on WBLS, where he quickly became a favorite among dance music fans. His show became a landmark for introducing early Chicago, New York, and New Jersey house music to a wider audience. Constantly pushing boundaries with new sounds and techniques, Merlin helped redefine the art of DJing and laid the foundation for a remarkable career in music.

Beyond the decks, Merlin shaped the direction of house and dance music as an executive at Atlantic and Elektra Records. He was instrumental in bringing house into the mainstream while collaborating with and championing legends like Frankie Knuckles, Timmy Regisford, Roger Sanchez, Kerri Chandler, David Morales, Louie Vega, Tony Humphries, and DJ Spinna. At the same time, he worked with some of the biggest names in hip-hop and R&B—Missy Elliott, Brandy, Busta Rhymes, Pharrell Williams, Timbaland, Outkast, Dr. Dre, and more during his tenure as Senior Vice President of A&R.

Merlin also helped shape New York nightlife as co-founder of Club Shelter in 1991, a cultural institution whose influence continues to resonate across global club culture today.

Now, after years behind the scenes, Merlin has returned to DJing and producing, reigniting his connection with longtime fans and reaffirming his role as a vital force in the house music movement.

Delmar´s love for music developed at the age of 13. His father musician Al Browne is responsible for starting him on his musical journey. He started his talented DJ and production career on the Al Browne Show on WHBI (Newark, NJ). Ever since that day, whether he is producing, arranging, coordinating or spinning his volume of depth, Delmar is never found far from epic melodies or beats. 

In 2000, Delmar Browne was installed to the Official Disco DJ Hall of Fame™ of the Disco-Step-By Step™ website. His hard work leads him also to be named 'Celebrated Mix Master' for the WKTU Studio 54 Clubhouse with 'Brooklyn's own Joe Causi.' In 2005, he was honored to be one of 100 Best Deejays in the Disco Era, through an induction into the Discotheque Pioneers Hall of Fame. Delmar Browne has been playing various events at the Winter Music Conference since 2009. That same year his compilation of Carolyn Harding´s 25 Year Commemorative CD: Memories And Still 'Movin On' was released at WMC. 

In 2019, Delmar Browne was invited to spin at Amsterdam Dance Event for ADE AMW 24/5 DJ Marathon 2019 as one of 100 top-rated House and EDM DJ’s. In 2020, Delmar Browne is excited to be part of the 108Soul Team playing music from his backyard NYC! In 2022, 'The BKBasement Podcast with Delmar Browne' was launched. "Call It Techno" was the blueprint track which was written on June 4, 1989.  It was at the forefront of European Rave Culture and became a well known track in the U.K. & Germany.  The documentary "We Call It Techno" explains it right from the beginning and from that came the second & third Love Parade themes being named "The Future Is Ours" off the XL/Citibeat LP by Musto & Bones.  And "My House Is Your House" from the Break Boys which was Frankie Bones aka on Fourth Floor Records in 1990.

Frankie became the American Pioneer of Rave Culture on both coasts in 1990, playing Techno as a movement.  The Peace, Love, Unity Movement which in 1993 became PLUR after a fight broke out at an event in The Bronx which had Richie Hawtin as it's headliner.
