So, Eclectic 13...Decided to keep it limited to downtempo tracks/slow jams for this one. Overall feel is chilled out and perfect for a sunny day, but it does get a bit stompy (is that even a word?) in places.  As always, there’s loads of edits and mashups to keep it interesting.  We've got a big jumble of everything in here, from funk, soul, R&B, classic hip hop and rap, and some commercial tracks to a bit of acid and some other less obvious stuff.

Time for another eclectic mix.  This one is a bit different and has a bit of soul, funk, electro, electro funk, hip hop and even a jazzy track.  Tunage spans the decades from the early 70s to the mid 90s and a few edits and mash-ups of my own.  Did this about 5 days ago, but what with xmas and everything, only just got round to uploading it.

Eclectic mix Vol 4. If you enjoyed the other eclectic mixes, you should like this one!  In case you haven't heard the others, these mixes are pretty much anything goes and are always a big jumble of styles/genres with changes of pace and the music usually spans the decades. Dave Marshall - Oldskool Mix - Tunes For A Sunny Day - Eclectic Vol 12

Here is a 1 hour mix of early house classics 1986-1990 that I did for a history of house Move radio FM documentory.

Many trax packed in,mixed live on vinyl on 2 turntables in one take! - no edits, laptops, tricks or cheats.

These were the foundations that the Stoke On Trent  House scene was built on, some were hits, others not, but most still get played to this day on a regular basis.

I was 15 in 1986 when house music arrived in the UK and I was instantly hooked and still am today!
