The Ride

Firstly we want to thank everyone for contributing your creativity, generosity and positivity to our fundraiser for the ongoing humanitarian crisis that is ongoing across Europe. We hope you are all safe and well, and wish the best to your friends and families. 

The last three years have been incredibly difficult on us all, and it is inspiring to see our united music scene come together once again in response to the atrocities in Ukraine. We hope for peace as soon as possible, and we must prepare to rebuild and help the affected people to recover from this tragic conflict.

Sadly, the people of Ukraine will need support for years to come. For this reason, our fundraiser will be making weekly donations to Closer Kyiv's fundraiser appeal. We will make regular posts on social media regarding the fundraising process to show how much this album has raised.

PREMIERE: Chris Llopis - Dubster [FFRV006]

Fabio Biancu aka Cluster B was born as a regular visitor to the biggest clubs on the Turin and European scene. He cultivates his passion between London and Ibiza, where he lives for a few years, participating as a guest in numerous local clubs and after parties.
In November 2019 he created Borderline Record Shop, a record shop specializing in electronic music, a musical reference point for all DJs and fans of electronic music on vinyl and a meeting point between the various artists of the Turin and non-Turin scene.
In fact, Cluster B provides a nice mix strictly in vinyl that ranges from electronic, to house and break, which really make you want to run quickly to the nearest club to dance properly!
He embarked on a production project that is still evolving today

This isn't Interstellar Beats' first rodeo for the UK's OGE Music. This upstart Cheshire cat also made an earlier self-titled four-tracker in 2023, and now comes fresh on its heels with a glassy glamp housing four more beady beds of sound. 'Space Loops' and 'Small Talk' are twin siren songs of sfumato funk and house, not treading too lightly nor too heavily. 'Room Service' and 'Do It Again' follow as jankier, verging on bluesy blowouts, their titles giving vibes of a luxury hotelier's idealistic fantasy. The B2 is especially gritty and echoes the more streetwise garage house sounds of old, though we've come a heck of a way to minimal.

Incoming…! 2019 ends with a bang as we unveil the second release from tINI’s Part Of The Gang record label. An extension of her tINI And The Gang parties, which were conceived in Ibiza, the label will act as a home for music from tINI’s close circle of friends and collaborators.

On this second release we have one of the Gang’s long standing members, Bodeler. The eclectic Argetinian has been spinning at tINI’s parties for a while now, so it makes sense to have him on board. Across three track he demonstrates his penchant for nuanced dancefloor weaponry, making this a must-have EP. Ricardo Villalobos has been supporting ‘Ridrum’ in his sets, so you know this is a special one…

Kicking things off it’s ‘Ridrum’, a pumping cut driven by organic-sounding percussion spliced with crisp 4x4 drum programming. The bass is hypnotic, pulsating in tandem with the beats to create a scintillating track - when the vocal calls out “Radio”, the dancefloor goes crazy.

On ‘Bom Gates’ Bodeler incorporates a repeated vocal clip to cultivate a mesmerising atmosphere. After a short breakdown, another vocal sample joins the fray alongside a deadly b-line and sharp, sturdy claps.

Lastly, ‘Klepex’ gives us a heady ride into unexplored terrains. The low end groans with a low slung groove, while gentle pads add a touch of mystique. It’s a masterful combination of contrasting layers, closing the EP in style.
