Dave Cortex & Josh Harnois - The Joint

Funkedge kicks off 2013 with a proper 4-track taste of things to come.  Starting things off is "Google Translate", the product of an international 3-way collaboration.

Spain's Sergio Navarro was in DC for a weekend playing a gig with Dave Cortex, and the next day they jumped in the studio. The only problem with that neither of the two were very fluent in each other's language -- so the track earned it's namesake by being the primary method of communication throughout the entire session. After that translated into a banging groove, Josh Harnois walked in and played what may be the most epic instrumental breakdown ever.
