Den Siste (The Last) is a solo Black Metal project located in Sacramento, CA.

Just released my first demo (Suicidium). The first three songs to my upcoming album. More on the way.

Apocryphal was formed on 23 August, 2012 with the goal in mind of creating true to life old school death metal and death/doom.  The bands sole mission is to create high art in the form of aural devastation aka underground metal. Death metal is an art form and thus it is not entertainment.  Nothing is real but death, and with this outlook, the death metal genre becomes more relevant.

This band was formed in 1998 under the name Thirsty For Blood. We played numerous gigs in Auburn, Sacramento, and San Francisco. Our stage show consisted of fire, metal, and of course lots of blood. In 2000 we put out a 5 song demo cassette limited to 50 copies.

In 2002 we self-released Deathbed for a Weakening Spirit. 300 CDs were pressed and shipped world wide. It was recorded at J-lab studios in Daily City, CA by Larry Santiago.

In 2003 Disfigured Records released Violence Is The Answer which received many great reviews.

In 2005 we recorded The Knife with the great Bart Thurber @ the House of Faith studios in Oakland, CA. An all "live" analog recording with zero computers (pro-tools) used. It was released on vinyl 7" split with Skitzo, released on Buried In Hell Records.

S.O.S. is not trying to be the fastest, most brutal or extreme band. We are strictly committed to playing metal in the vein we would like to hear it.
