A year on he collaborates with Dames Brown, firm favourites of house fans worldwide. Yours truly first became familiar with House Gospel Choir during the pandemic when they regularly streamed rousing renditions of house classics. As for Crackazat, he's been infiltrating my house chart lately with original productions that incorporate a sizable portion of both jazz and soul. Next up though, he's taken on the newest vocal magic from House Gospel Choir and given it his signature touch of infectious piano chords which is a match made made in house heaven. 

Fittingly, it's titled, "Angels" and we proudly present you with the premiere of this lovely remix which along with the original cut is due out on October 26th.

Parisian producer Young Pulse collaborates with London artist Fleur De Mur for ‘Smooth Sweet Talker’, a sparkling disco release on Glitterbox. The two share a reverence for disco and its many sub-genres; Young Pulse’s energetic sets and remixes encompass everything from boogie and house to funk and nu disco while Fleur De Mur specialises in serving familiar yet fresh disco vocals alongside sleek songwriting. ‘Smooth Sweet Talker’ is a love letter to classic disco with all the bells and whistles; Fleur’s vocalisations and distinct spoken word sections punctuate Young Pulse’s quintessential bass guitar licks, brass instrumentation and striking string runs all giving that throwback feel.

Esteemed selector Jamie 3:26 returns to Glitterbox, revisiting his 2022 collaboration with Melvo Baptiste and Annette Bowen ‘Gonna Be Alright’. On the original, Jamie’s spoken word sections and Annette’s soulful vocals were a perfect match for Melvo’s rare groove and funk-laden style, sparking the attention house’s finest including Louie Vega, DJ Spen, Natasha Diggs and Luke Solomon. One year on, the Chicago legend teams up with regular collaborator Danou P to apply their own production style to ‘Gonna Be Alright’, creating a headsy, understated cut that retains the originals percussive energy with ease.
