Midnight Magic’s perennial disco anthem “Beam Me Up” announced itself as an instant classic from the moment of its release in 2010, and at long last the fellow Brooklynites joined us for a 10-year-anniversary package (minus one lost year) that once again establishes the timeless quality of the song with a fresh and versatile package of new remixes.

Norwegian space-disco don Prins Thomas delivers a sprawling and elegant mix, grounding melodic and psychedelic elements over a bumping percussive disco rhythm treatment, stretching out over 8 minutes of blissful breakdowns, delays and driving bass lines. Kim Ann Foxman takes the song to a darker and dubbier place with her “Beam Me To The Basement Mix,” layering samples of singer Tiffany Roth’s vocal and insistent acid synths over a heavy and pulsing low end. Each Other, a new project by Max Pask and NYC club royalty Justin Strauss, crafts an extended peak-time stormer of a mix, with churning analog drum and synth production that is somehow ravey, New-Wavey and lush all at once.

These three mixes truly capture an entire club night in one record, each a beautifully unique interpretation that showcases the inimitable talent and creativity of the remixers, and is also a testament to the enduring perfection of the original. Since 2024, Flashbaxx has been performing again as an electronic 
live act, showcasing his unique mash-ups of disco and house classics. His high-energy performances have already taken him to legendary clubs like the KitKat Club in Berlin. In June 2025 selected tracks from his live set will be released as “Gazelle” EP on the newly founded label Groovers Trax (Leipzig), fulfilling his longheld dream of creating an uncompromising house record with a disco twist. 

From 2016 to 2025, Stenger was part of the podcast Proseccolaune, where he further honed his comedic talent. Today, this is reflected in his own comedy and music content on social media, striking a balance between accessible entertainment and subcultural authenticity—earning him a steadily growing fanbase. 
Daniel Stenger lives in Aschaffenburg (DE), works in his studio where he produces music, podcasts, content and musical projects for the advertising industry.

Time to take a trip back to the Windy City. A firm favourite song from Dave Lee’s highly acclaimed ‘Metamorphosis’ album under his AC Soul Symphony alias. This time we’ve pulled in some heavyweight remixes to refresh things up.

The main man Dave Lee has flipped it musically, but still with reference and reverence to Chicago with a deep jackin’ Chi-Town Tribute Mix, slapping a thick 303 front and centre. Up next is the Windy City legend himself, Glenn Underground, with his irresistibly cosmic take, drawing on his deep jazz-funk knowledge. Our Kiwi brother DILBY was on fire in 2018. He delivered 2 EP's on MOTHER RECORDINGS and managed to secure back to back Top 10 hits with each release. Well, if this new EP is any indication, 2019 is going to be even bigger!

Up first is „Rio Grande“. A club destroying dance floor heater that features DILBY ́s signature drum filled tribalism on top of a punchy, grooving sub bass. Of course it wouldn't be a DILBY jam without a catchy sing-along vocal which brings even more ethnic flavour to this hedonistic afro workout!

On the flip we are treated to an energetic house bomb titled „Keep On Dancing“. This is a powerful club record which gives off a distinct late 90's vibe with it's filtered disco groove and tough analog drum programming. A deep, warm bass line rolls heavily across the low frequency as loopy vocal hooks and crunchy vocal shots keep the dance floor locked in as the energy erupts in the break.
