Mix factor questionable but MAN - the music of my 20's. Great!

This is literally the perfect album. I've been looking for an album like this for so long. 

I remember going to see Trouble Funk & Chuck Brown play at the Town & Country Club in Camden in the late eighties and being totally blown away. And from that moment forward, I found myself collected a fair amount of Washington's finest export! This collection has rekindled a former love and introduced me to a number of gems I'd previously not heard.  Best compilation of the year so far for me!  :)

José López is is a dj from Barcelona, that has 30 years of djing experience and during this time has been promoting "black music". He focuses on such genres as: soul, disco, funk, classic house, soulful house, hip hop & deep house. He is a founder of the collective "Soulful House Barcelona" and creator of the popular (7 500 members) Facebook group "New Station Point House Soulful Barcelona". A music produced by him has been released by "On Work" label. 

During his musical career he has performed in renowned clubs of Barcelona, Ibiza, Menorca and León and at the international festival "Bolbeats" in Croatia.

Happy New Year!!! Wow, 2018 was such an incredible year for the genre of Soulful House Music! I personally had so much fun and had a very productive year releasing over 30 DJ Spivey projects in all (Mixes & Edits). A few months ago I even started a "DJS Radio" series inspired by a new song and or a particular artist that I'm totally digging at the moment. "Volume 2" was absolutely inspired by the ultra talented Ms. Sheree Hicks. I'm totally in love with her voice and I play her music all of the time but I'm really playing her new one "Love Of My Life" at least 20 times a day. Along with Ms. Hicks' Banger this set features Gems from: Carissa Nicole, Tamia, Kerri Chandler, Sting and more... And to celebrate one of my all time favorite singing voices the late great Mr. Donny Hathaway (Going into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame) I threw in a hot remix of his classic "A Song For You." The Mix starts off very smooth and sexy but after Donny's song we take it straight to "The Shelter" in NYC! So you know the drill by now. Push that furniture back, get something cool to drink and lets get ready to Dance like nobody's watching...  \o/
