Jordan - "Over the past few months I have been making more techno and dropping it more in my sets. I am not finding much inspiration from what is being released in the deeper side of house and instead have found myself drawn to a different sound than what most people might associate me with.

This mix documents my current headspace and includes tracks new and old from the likes of Norm Talley, Matthias Fridell, Octave One, Mr. G and Pittsburgh Track Authority, which have all been a constant fixture in my sets over the past few months. I have also included a preview of my upcoming release on D'Julz' incredible label Bass Culture and my remix of one of my favourite X-Press 2 tracks of all time ‘Want You Back’, taken from the legendary "Muzikizum" album on Skint Records.

Here's the third volume of my Verano Mix series. I've been pulling songs together for it for the last couple of months, and I'm quite happy with what came together. Its an hour to tell the story of a summer day, sunrise to sunset. If everything is right, this should be an escape, a pathway to losing your problems for a day. On February 2nd, dance music titan Eric Prydz returned to the hallowed BBC Radio 1 Essential Mix decks, taking control of the airwaves for two hours of forward-thinking electronic music. This marked Prydz’ return to the Essential Mix show for the first time since late 2011, when it was recorded live from his set at Creamfields. The reaction to the show on Saturday was so big that it got the Essential Mix trending on Twitter on both sides of the Atlantic while it was being aired.

Another standout track from the recent Sunburst Band album is the boogiefied house cut ‘Definition of Luv’ featuring Diane Charlemagne. 

Rising star Sean McCabe once again comes through with a brilliant remix adding his trademark deep and soulful house sound using Diane’s vocals to great effect. His Main mix is one for the soulful house heads while his Definition of Dub goes a bit deeper and dubby.

As always Joey Negro turns in his own extended album mix and Dubstrumental stretching out the original making the most of the 80's style synth parts.
