Hardcore Underground as a brand was born in 2006 when we released our first compilation CD in the UK & Ireland. Further critically acclaimed compilations have followed, and have featured some of Hardcore's finest DJs showcasing exciting, high quality music from both new and established artists alike. In 2009 we became a record label in our own right, with both the third and fourth albums finding their way into mainstream stores on a new imprint, free from any commercial affiliation with anyone; a truly independent record label. We began releasing singles too (initially on 12” vinyl as well as digitally) through all major stores, and continued to host our unique and popular club nights.

We have continued to release high quality music in various formats, including many landmark releases for the genre, both through our own platform and through other major vendors. We remain as committed to (and as passionate about!) pushing things forward as we have ever been. We will always strive to innovate, and we’ll continue to be at the very forefront of releasing modern music as a self-contained, self sufficient media outlet.

Chloe Clueless (Chloe Hughes), a Midlands-based DJ with an unwavering passion for music. Starting the musical odyssey as a teenager influenced by Annie Mac and her eclectic sound. Clueless honed her skills, drawing inspiration from a vibrant club and festival cultural tapestry that surrounded her, she has carved out a niche style and is now known for her seamless fusion of techy, bass house, wobblers with hints of acid rave and techno.


Clueless has graced renowned venues like The Emporium, Gatecrasher’s, Ciros, Union, Que Club, and even lit up dance floors in Ibiza, various beach bars plus many festivals like Xstatic summer festival, strawberry fields, Deevstock, Gandifest and most recently BOOMTOWN!


Sharing line-ups with notable names like Jaguar Skill and opening for Foamo, gaining main room sets supporting the likes of Miss Dynamite and Chase & Status.


Beyond music, Clueless thrives running her own night, passionately supporting emerging DJs and creating a welcoming and celebratory space for all. The journey is far from over for this not-so-clueless artist.

EyUp everyone, my name is Rob Oakley—also known as Oaks. I’m a British Army veteran and proudly served 13 years with The Light Infantry and The Rifles. I was medically discharged in 2017, and shortly before that, I was diagnosed with PTSD. Over the years I’ve taken part in various forms of therapy, and in my search for peace of mind, I discovered two things that truly help: carp fishing and, most importantly, music.

I enjoy a wide range of music, but my passion lies in Hard House and Trance. I even have a dedicated space in my garden—the “SeshShed”—where you’ll usually find me behind the decks enjoying the music.

I started creating mixes to share the happiness and escape that music gives me. If even one person listens and feels good because of it, then I’ve achieved what I set out to do. I don’t claim to be a professional DJ—it’s simply a hobby I love—so I’ll apologise in advance for any imperfections along the way.

I once had the privilege of producing and releasing a track with the legend and good friend Rob Tissera. The tune, Alright, was released by Dave Gray (aka General Bounce) on his label Cheeky Tracks. Sadly, it didn’t quite make Christmas number one—but it was a great experience nonetheless!

My latest release, Oaks – Mad As Hell, is available on Shed Trax. It reached No. 2 in the Toolbox Digital Top 100 and helped raise funds for Phoenix Heroes, a cause I’m proud to support.

I made my debut for Lost in Trance (L.I.T) in March 2025, and I’m hopeful to secure more gigs throughout 2026—so watch this space.
